| If there is such a thing.
My old phone went for a swim. Needles to say, I don't think iPhone will be trying out for the summer Olympics anytime soon.
What is the best "indestructible" case I can get? I know Ottter Box but is there any other comparable products? |

Location: The barn...where else? SW Missouri | Otter box. I've had my iPhone in one since the day I bought it 2 years ago. Still looks brand new when I take it out of the case. I've dropped it on concrete and it bounces. Well worth the money. |

Location: 100 miles from Nowhere, AR | Otterbox. I have dropped mine on concrete I don't know how many times, my horse bucked it out of my pocket once and stepped on it. That incident cracked the case, but the phone is perfect. One of our employees ran over his with a tractor and it broke the case but protected the phone. |

How do they hold up to being dropped... repetitively?
I am bad cell phone owner. My last phone was in the Otter Box Defender. The case lasted me about 8 months. Maybe I just had a faulty one but the rubber never really fit right and the casing eventually cracked. The guy at ATT put it on for me and said the rubber would shrink back but it never did. |

| Another vote for OtterBox, they are expensive (come in different levels) I got the most expensive most durable one. It makes your phone a bit bulkier but I don't mind its been dropped on concrete countless times, gotten wet when I rode outside when it was raining. My phones would never last the 2 years before you could get a new one and my iphone with this case is almost 2 years old and looks new and works great! |

| Otterbox Defender
I pulled our Trailer fender off because we blew a tire and it bent it. I forgot I had sat my phone down and laid the fender down on top of the phone. I was beating the fender with a hammer to get it back into shape. The case suffered a minor chunk taken out of the screen but the iPhone was A-OK! No cracking, chipping or anything! |

Location: So. Cali. | Otterbox. We JUST updated from our Iphone 3s to the Iphone 5s. NEVER had to replace our 3s living in Otterboxes. Mine even got driven over once. Phone survived.
We however are ordering the Griffin Survivor cases for the iphone 5s as they seem to be more durable than the Otterboxes for the 5's that I have seen.
They are not 'cute' or 'blingy' but they are worth their weight in gold if you do not have insurance.

Location: Lone Star State | Lifeproof. Good protection. I drop mine numerous times and even in water. Slim case that slides easily into my pockets. Only thing I can say bad about it is since it is fully waterproof, it covers the camera lens so sometimes pics aren't the best.
I did not like my otter box defender case. Sure it protected my phone from drops but the case itself didn't last. After two months of use, the silicone outer layer just fell apart in many different areas. It's bulky. Just wasn't impressed. |

Location: Gainesville, TX | I had an otterbox on my iphone 3gs and have a lifeproof for my 4s. I've liked both cases for different reasons. I do think the otterbox was tougher though. And if something happens to your phone, I thought they said they would replace or something like that. Could be wrong about that, though. |

you would have to have the case because all you have to do is take a picture of the damage and the seal that is stamped on the case.. pretty neat! |

Location: Midwest | You can drop a phone from 6.5 feet with life proof. I believe that is what it is rated for.
It is WAY smaller than an otter box and waterproof to 6 ft.
They make life proof for the galaxy's and apple products. |

| LOVE my Lifeproof. I had a Otterbox for years and it never compared to this. I have dropped mine off my horse, on pavment, in water..etc. My SO has one and he's rough on phones (as in, runs over them..) and this has saved his phone numerous times. I won't put anything else on my phone. |

I had issues with the Otterbox screen.... and found the Lifeproof easier to type on...??? I think there are different "levels" of Lifeproof covers. Wes may have the really tough "Navy Seal" endorsed option! :) |

| I ordered an Otterbox Armor when I got my new phone and I swear it was as big as my thigh! There was NO way I could carry that huge thing around. The quality of the case was amazing though and yes, it was waterproof. I ordered a Life Proof case next and it was MUCH smaller although it didn't seem as durable. I ended up using the Life Proof because of the much smaller size but I'm not overly impressed with it. Everytime I drop it the charging cover flies open so so much for the waterproof part! Also, the flimsy little rubber seal for the headphones comes out nearly every time I shove it in my back pocket so it will be no time before its ripped off. I'd probably go with an Otterbox if I got another one....just don't get the Armour series if you are worried about it being huge!

Location: Midwest | mine fell off in some mud while I was breezing my horse.... it was fine. I'm glad I found it, cause that sucker FLEW.
It was in the life proof case at the time. It also seals out the dust, which is nice for being in the barn. To clean it, I use windex or 409. |

| Ok I had the otter box it is not waterproof and thick case hard to carry in your pocket. Hubby and I both have lifeproof now and we love it. I've dropped it while riding. He has actually had it swimming in his pocket and forgot about it. Also fell out of jeep going down highway and it is still good.
BUT go buy an actual one at a store. Many copies out there that even say lifeproof but they r not good quality and hard to type through. |

Otterbox makes several different models. The model you had may not have been waterproof but the more expensive ones are completely waterproof. |

| I have had two otter boxes and the screen protectors were so scuffed within two weeks I couldn't see thru it. I just took them off which really makes the whole protection thing useless. I am not impressed:(
