| I spoke to them a few months ago, they never mentioned that tree.
I was told the maxxed out was the widest, promax the second widest |

| Charon told me that's what my guy is. I couldn't find any information on the site about that tree either. She said they aren't common... Figures I have to be the odd one. Ha! |

| I don't think there is such a thing as a Caldwell XI. Call Caldwell and ask them what you might need. They have 6 trees; TG, Rocket, Ultra Rocket, Pro Rider, ProMax, Maxxed Out. |

Sounds like its a special tree that they would make, man I bet that would be like riding a 50 gal barrel. LOL |

So you're the one Charon was telling me about the other day. Isn't it fun having such a specially built horse? I would think it is next to impossible to find a used one as I doubt she has made many. |

Oh I can fix your problem: You need to just sell me or give me you Dash For Perks!! I have two Perks Alive that I LOVE! Both are riding perfectly in my Pro Max but my 3 year is going to be HUGE so with my luck I'll have to go to a Maxxed Out. |

Seriously. You look at him from the wide and you see a skinny sad racey horse.... Then look at him from behind/front and he looks like a mastiff. He's Mr Eye Opener/Beduino/Streakin Six. |

Location: Texas | I currently have a Maxxed Out that I ride my one horse in. Was getting dry spots when I used it on my other horse though. Talked with Charon and she said that horse needed the XL Max. Had one custom made, lots of $$$$, six months later... still got dry spots. Sent it back to Caldwell. Charon measured it and said that it measured the same as the Maxxed Out. Her explanation... They had just started with a new tree maker and it was one of the first XL Max saddle trees they had made so the tree maker didn't get it right. I was able to get most of my money back. After that fiasco I decided to use a treeless saddle on that horse. I had tried the Rocket and the Pro Max before I finally settled on the Maxxed out for my one horse. And I don't consider my horses overly wide, large, big shouldered, etc. |

My wide horse Martin crown c fitted her and I got a custom saddle made.
Todd Sloan has a fit 3 but that wouldn't even fit my stocky mare
There is one other brand that says they have a wide saddle, but I cannot think of the name, but she trained under caldwell for years, I have never tried one |

Location: Red Raiderland | Both my Perks Alive mares fit really nicely in my ProMax. My Streakin Six(racey mare) fits a Rocket perfectly but I can also run/ride her in a TG which I am having to do right now. I do have a friend with a HUGE gelding that had to be put in a Maxxed Out. |

I was out the shipping both ways. Caldwell did right by me and I have not had any issues with them. They make EXCELLENT quality saddles that ride like no other.

| Interesting timing, did a search for Caldwell XL Max and this came up. Just talked to Charon as I had sent her pictures of my horse and mine too needs a Caldwell XL Max. I understand what all she is saying but I simply cannot afford one of those saddles. Sigh. If I ever come across a used one though I may snatch it up! |

| I have a maxxed out that i had made for my 4 year old. It is the XL which is an 8 1/2 in gullet. I love the saddle but it still has too much twist for my mare. She has shoulders like a race horse but has a flat back with a wide rib cage. She is 15.3 and built like a tank but has those 90 degree shoulders. I started working with charon over 2 years ago 4 different trees and 5 saddles later.. I really love how the caldwell saddles ride but I'm finally going to have to cry uncle and try a different saddle company for this mare.
