Looking for a Republican stronghold with resources to sustain some quality of life.

As in where to live?

Iowa isn't too bad. 

South Dakota is colder than us. 

Wyoming is cold and windy. 

After that...I don't have much.

WTH is a republican stronghold? 

florida   georgia we need more republican albama miss texas need more  but its down right scary

My brother lives in southern California and he said he's thinking about moving to Florida .... don't know if that'll make a difference or not.

You beat me to it.  Best bet is SD, ND, Texas, and Florida, off the top of my head. Right now, I don't see many strongholds....lots of weak ones.

Sounds to me like the Dems are moving into the strong Republican areas weakening them.  Maybe the Republicans should start to move into the Dem areas in return

I am watching Texas right now to see if the talk all those years becomes a reality.lol

If not maybe Florida sooner than later.  I would love to move to SD but hubby says no.

I guess I'm out of the loop here , but whats the talk thats going on in Texas? I kinda live in my own little world out here and miss alot of things, lol.

I can't say that anywhere is better than where I am, but there's only a few worse ones.

I have wanted out of this area for almost 10 years now. I don't know if I can get the hubb to leave tho, it was like pulling teeth to get him outside the beltway. I hope enough republicans will start moving to some of the 'purple' states and help turn them back to red.

Awwww OK, I dont see this happening.. Not in my life time anyway, I dont think.. But you never know. Anything is possible now adays, They impeached Trump 2 times so any thing could happen.

I wish I could remember what I heard on the news today.  There was to be a filing or a vote or something on it as early as this week or next.  I agree though I don't see it happening in my lifetime.  Guess it wil be Florida then.

I saw something about it too?  Like they were filing papers and it would take 2 years to complete.

However, lots of dems moving to TX I heard?  And lots of Asian owned properties....

Secession. This time I am starting to think we really should. But I don't think we have the right people in place to do it right. 

Indiana, anywhere but marion county or the upper northwest.  If you want to do your research you should see the election map by county in each state.  It will scare you how many more red states are gonna fall with the growing blue presence in the highly populated areas. 

 South Dakota. Check out our governors handling of the virus and other stances she has taken. She is a strong woman and governor. Happy to say I live in SD.

We are headed to Florida in a few but we are headed to the gulf.

We are but this has been in the making for years. We vacay there a lot.  A bunch of us on MeWe have been discussing red state retirement lol and I think this was a good plan in the making.
