Underestimated Underdog Posts: 3971 Location: Minnesota	Some of you may remember my post a month or so ago about my husband and I wanting another dog and he wanted one for hunting and I wanted a dog more for me to have around when my husband and current dog(chocolate lab) are out hunting. He was wanting another lab or some kind of Springer type dog and I wanted a heeler. I finally convinced him to just have our current dog for hunting and I could get my heeler. So excited! I searched and searched and finally found a very reputable breeder in Missouri and my name is on the wait list for a red heeler that will be born late summer. Well last night my cousin contacts me and says she found a male yellow lab puppy a few days ago wandering the highway and no one has claimed him! She took him to the vet and he doesn't have a chip. So...were taking him! My husband gets his hunting dog and I still get my heeler. Its a win win and this puppy gets a loving forever home! The vet said he's under 12 weeks old and healthy. He doesn't have a name yet so if anyone wants to throw out some options, I'm all ears. Were picking him up tomorrow morning. Here he is! Underestimated Underdog Posts: 3971 Location: Minnesota	We went and got him this morning and after seeing him in person we can tell he isn't pure lab, which was suprising to us. He has white on his sides and head. We still love him just the same but were curious now about what he's mixed with. He's a very laid back pup with feet that are so big that they almost don't match his body. Him and our chocolate lab get along get, its a perfect match!
