| So I have been trying to find a good quality ration balancer to feed my horses. I have come up with a few ideas, but I'm curious to see what everyone else would pick? Currently I feed Buckeye Gro N Win. I absolutely love the feed but I absolutely hate the feed store that carries it. And there is no other store in the area that has it. Long story short, every time I go in to buy any kind of feed that the owner didn't "develop" she questions and grills me as to why I don't want to feed her grain... Ssooo I'm kind of looking to get away from having to go to that store lol. I currently have an easy keeper gelding, a NSC sensitive mare, yearling filly, an air fern mini, and a thin super senior foundered mini. I would also like to keep the NSC under 14%. Please feel free to ad your own options!! |

| I feed the Purina enrich. I have varying types of keepers and they are all thriving!Mi only feed alfalfa hay as well. My open horse gets 2# a day plus alfalfa and turnout on pasture. We have decent native Bermuda that is plentiful right now. I may need to offer coastal when the grass turns brown from frying int the Texas sun. I have a 4, 5 and 7 yr old gelding in training that also get the same results. My daughter open mare gets 1# plus alfalfa and pasture. She's an easy keeper. My pasture oornament mare also gets 1# but not as much alfalfa and complete turnout on grass. My open horse is so much quieter since switching him off of grain and he no longer sweats that white foamy sweat. My vet says they look amazing. |

| I have used the Purina Enrich + since the day I got her, at 5 months. She has done great. |

Location: NC | I've used both the Gro N Win and TC 30% with good success with my easy keepers.
I know several who have tried the Enrich and had nothing but bad luck. Their horses lost a lot of weight on it, looked poor, dull, and they went bonkers in the process.
Triple Crown has the 30% ration balancer. And they also have their Senior feed that's only 13% NSC content. Super low starch and pretty high in fat and fiber. It's a really good regular feed option for sensitive horses and harder keepers. |

Location: Somewhere over the rainbow | I started using Empower Balance for my one very easy, gets fat on air, gelding. After researching I switched all of my herd to the same. I am so impressed with how well everyone does. nice shiney coats, good energy good performance. If you need to add calories consider Empower Boost.

Location: Texas | Had mine on TC 30% and they were doing great. Decided to give the Renew Gold a try when it became available in my area. Horses were on it for over a year and did NOT do well on it. Switched back to the TC 30% and they are both looking and running better than they ever have. |
