| I'm looking for supplements and was wondering what your opinions and experiences were with these products. Which one you liked best? |

This. I was feeding my mare (hard keeper) Ultlium, alfalfa, free choice coastal and Power packing her 2x a year and giving her a mineral block and she still didnt' look great. Vet suggested PP CJ after my last visit where she was diagnosed with DDFT/CL strain. Plus they offer 10K of colic insurance coverage for free if you sign up for it. Now she's bred, turned out, and gets fed less expensive Blubonnet and a flake of large bale alfalfa 1x a day. You can see the ridge lines where her feet are growing in healthier and her coat isn't fried from being turned out. Have my 3yr old on it too...same thing.

Location: bring on the heat, NV | Well my first choice is THE never fails me. I prefer smartpak of the two. Everything has worked from them and they eat it. Platinum.... I used it for 1 week and my mare tyed up. Only thing different.... I took her off and on smartpaks nothing. So Im not saying it was them and I gave my Platinum away because Im not 100% that was it so I didnt return it. I hate that one of the first ingredients is molasses. I watch sugars like a hawk. Easy keepers and sensitive horses here.... |

| I tried P.P. but didn't have much luck with it. As much as I paid for it I was disappointed. I am a Smart Pak user. They have AWESOME customer service to boot! |

| I used it on my gelding when I first got him. I really liked it but it was too expensive to continue at that time. I also used it on a mare who cut her front leg badly enough that it nicked a tendon and she had to stay at the vet for I.V. antibiotics. I really feel that sped up her healing time and my vet was also impressed. He told us he didn't think we would be able to ride her, but we use her to gather the vows. |

| I have used Smart Paks for a few years now and have found a combination that my horse loves. I see a noticeable difference in her health. I haven't tried PP so I can't say anything about that. I am happy with SPs. It is easy to pack around and it comes automaticallly. Customer service is superior. I like the ability to try different things and change things up if.when I need to. |

| Platinum products all the way. I have used them for a few years now and I love them. You can call up customer service and get trial sizes so you don't have to shell out $$ for the 10lb buckets.
When I started feeding it, I mixed it into soaked alfalfa to help my horses adjust to the taste.
Also - side note, I fed Platinum Performance with THE's GastroPlus while treating ulcers in my good mare. Worked like a charm.

Location: Arkansas | Can't say enough good things about PP CJ----good stuff. Never used SP, but have a good friend that was having to inject her cutter every 3 months. Started SP and hasn't injected since Feb 14, and she said her mare isn't hurting anywhere and is working awesome. So I helped not one bit, did I?!! |
