| Anyone have experience with these tribute feeds ? I want to switch my herd to it but I'm torn between these two feeds . Which would you choose & why ? They are medium / harder keepers . Get grass hay & good pasture for 10 hours a day .. Hay at all times when not on pasture . One mare is prone to ulcers . 3 are mature competing barrel horses , the 4 th one is a 2 yr old just getting into some work . Suggestions please & thank you ! |

Location: Southern Indiana | I feed Kalm n ez to all of mine. It's a good feed. The Kalm ultra is good for hard keepers, but it does have molasses. I would go with the ez unless you really need to pack on weight. My horses are fat and shiny. |

Location: Mi | My suggestion for medium to hard keeprs would be the Kalm Ultra. Yes, it does have some molasses in it, but not a lot. Its going to have a little higer NSC % then the two you mentioned, but you're going to feed less of it. My mare that I run is far from a hard keeper and I feed her the Ultra, I just feed her less and also feed her essential k for the nutrients, all of our performance horses we have that are working eat Ultra, some more some less. The rest are fed Kalm N EZ. Between 22 horses at my place they are all fed and maintained well with three feeds Kalm Ultra, Kalm Ez and Essential K. I've been a Tribute Feed dealer for 3 1/2 years and our biggest sellers are those three feeds, while we do sell others and have had sucess with all of them, those 3 are the top sellers. Once you make the switch I don't think you will be dissapointed! |

I am stil trying to get my dealership put together and find shipping. I have been buying on Amazon and am now waiting for some Foal Foundation for my little orphan filly. I can't wait to see how she does on it. Most of mine will be on Kalm N EZ or essencial K I think . I do like the Kalm Ultra as well . I can't wait to get everyone on it. |

| I switched to the Ez about 60 days ago and my ulcer prone hard keeper is actually starting to look beautiful!! I've never seen her so filled it with all the different feeds I've tried. And my old horse is packing on the weight too! The easy keepers are getting Less of course but their coats are all heathy and shiny. Love this feed! |

Awesome ! Good to hear ! My horses love it ! How much a day do you feed your hard keepers ? |

| My hard keepers are currently getting 3/4 of a feed scoop twice a day. And they still filling in! So I assume I will be able to feed less than that for a maintenance. |

Location: Kentucky | Here is my 19 year old on Kalm N EZ. I didn't brush her for this photo... it was a rare moment when it had actually stopped raining. She's my bit of a hard keeper, but I haven't had any issues since starting Tribute.

Location: Ohio | The two feeds you mentioned are low NSC (sugar+starch) products. If your horse is hot or nervous I would go for the Kalm N Ez pellet as it is slightly lower in NSC. It is still relatively high in fat at 8%/pound. The Resolve was developed for tie up concerns in horses. It is also good for hot horses but ones that are also hard keepers, hence the 10% fat/pound. Might also want to keep in mind your hay quality. KNEZ is higher in fiber which would be beneficial if you had a poor/mediocre hay source. Lots of options but either product is a great choice!!
