TS has this feed for $7.99 a bag. Is this good feed? I just feed rolled oats but a bag costs $15. Was wondering about changing bc of cost.

While the cost is good, I doubt at that price it is a very quality feed though. I would run the other way because it is a sweet feed

I worked at TSC for years. I would stay away from the all stock and sweet feeds. I'm pretty sure they just scrape up leftovers and press them into a pellet and mix molasses and some corn. Not a quality feed at all.

I worked at TSC as well. The majority of the Producers Pride feed is very poor quality. Every now and then we would have a few bags of it get busted open in the back and it was almost always moldy. Not something I would ever feed my horses. The saying you get what you pay for really applies here.

I agree with everyone else, not a quality feed at all.

I tried it for my horse that was completely off feed. I assumed this would be full of molasses and he would gulp it up. He wouldn't touch it, so of course I bought Purina Om.100 and he started eating again. I placed the Purina on top of the PP. I knew exactly when the Om. was gone as he stopped eating again. Threw it out. I'll glady pay $21 a bag for him to eat!

Just a suggestion, if you have a mill near you, you can buy straight from them depending on quantity and it averages out much cheaper per bag than buying from a store. Plus it is fresher. No fancy packaging but it comes direct.
