Location: South Georgia | Have any of you tried both? How do they compare? I'm currently feeding the Standlee brand, but noticed that the Dumor bag is 10# heavier for about the same price, so I'm weighing my options. Are they any good? |

| I use Standlee because they use alfalfa from the Nortwest states where they don't have to worry about blister beetles. Dumor, I believe, doesn't say where they get their alfalfa. I admit I am a big old scaredy-cat about the beetles. My sister list a horse to them and it was really awful. |

Location: Under The Big Sky Of Texas | I used to use Standlee Alfalfa cubes untill I found Pride Of The Plains Alfalfa cubes (Premium Colorado alfalfa cubes) and really like the heck outa them, been using this one for about 3 or 4 years, I like how much softer they are compare to others I have used in the past, and I think they are cheaper, I hated that Standlee is only a 40# sack, Pride Of The Plains is a true 50# for less money then Standlee or others that I have used. They do have Facebook if want to check them out.

I have been so stinking happy with these and my really OLD Donkey really likes, he dont leave any bites behind, lol.

| I started using the TRIPLE CROWN Naturals cubes for my horse with dust allergy issues. They are the MINI cubes and super super SOFT. They are more pricey than standlee but you can get them at tractor supply. |

| I have used both. I am currently using the Dumor Alfalfa Cubes as they also have them in Alfalfa/Timothy cubes and Alfalfa/Bermuda cubes. I soak these and mixed with my Ominis cubes. I did not know Tractor Supply was carrying the Triple Crown cubes. I don't think the Tractor Supply here is carrying them. |

Thanks. I think I'll give one bag a shot. Our TSC does not carry the TC Alfalfa cubes either. They have the feeds, but not the hay cubes. I am hearing mixed reviews on the Dumor. I'll give it a try. If not, Standlee, or some other no-name options are available. |

| All I can say is that I have not had a problem with the Dumor cubes or pelletts and I have been feeding them for several years. |

I didn't know they carried them either. Just happened to see them one day and bought a bag. But what it does tell me, is that TSC CAN GET them for sure if you wanted to order them. TC makes a Alfalfa/Oat cube, Alfafla, and one timothy cube. |

| Dumor is a Purina product. I checked it out before I bought any. |

Location: South Georgia | Update: bought the bag of Dumor. Appearance-wise they look identical. They do break apart more easily than the Standlee cubes. He's eating them just fine so far. We shall see, but so far so good. |

Location: the land of dust & sticks | I typically by the Dumor because they are a touch cheaper, but will get standlee if they are out of Dumor. Standlee has more binder in theirs so they are harder and take longer to soak. |

| IMO standlee has really lost its appeal. It use to be extremely clean. I quit feeding it when I started finding too much junk in it. Cubeit alfalfa cubes are way higher quality and really soft, easy for my horse to eat. Full 50lb sacks, not dusty at all and I pay $10.50 a bag. I'm not sure how available they are in other areas but it's pretty easy here. |

Location: South Georgia | The Dumor really seems to be fine. They are soaking just as well as Standlee. He's eating them just as well. The only thing I notice is that when soaked, the Dumor cubes consist of stalkier, more yellow pieces of alfalfa than the Standlee (which looked green through and through when soaked). Horse doesnt care though. |

No problems here. They soak overnight, or during the day between each feeding and they are soft mush when fed. |
