Location: Louisiana | I put my little Paint on Strongid C last spring, and I have never seen a healthier coat than what he had while he was on it. He even had dapples on his white hair! He just seemed to have a glow about him. He also felt great and was in flawless condition. I ran out of the Strongid C after giving him 2 buckets of it and switched to what I could find at the local store, which was one of the copycat brands. He seemed to lose some of his "glow" on that. So I have to attribute his great condition, in part at least, to the Strongid C. He was getting no other supplements at the time and was fed 10% sweet feed from the local co-op and coastal bermuda hay. I've just started my new horse Pac Man on Strongid C, as well. As I said, I've had good results from it in the past. But I'm always curious as to what other people think about controversial things like daily wormers. What has your experience been with them? |

Location: Somewhere Out of My Mind | I like the Strongid C. I've had very good luck with it. I just make sure I use it correctly which is take the horses off of it during the fall and winter and then put them back on it in the spring and summer. Some people use it year round but Pfizer does not recommend it. I use it on one horse but I follow the directions well. I've tried some of the other brands but did not like the results nor the amount I have to feed compared to the Strongid C 2X. I think Pfizer did a great job when they formulated the Strongid and the 2X. JMO.

| I have had my horse on this for about 3yrs. I get along with it great. I do feed it year round. To be eligable for the colic insurance from the company you have to worm in the spring and fall with equell paste and have a physical done at re-enrollment date. |

Location: Somewhere Out of My Mind | It's great on the young horses! My Mustang was heavily infested with worms when I got her and since she was not catachable I had to find something to use. The Strongid C worked perfectly. It was not to hard on her sytem but it gently cleaned her out until we were able to get her to eat the paste in her feed. She simply Blossomed while being on it and since she was so young it was much better then pasting her all the time and she did not mind the pellets at all. |

Location: Carpenter, WY | Thats what I was thinking. It would be alot easier to administer it daily. Do you think year round or seasonal on the little guys? |

Location: USA | My mare has been on it for 8 years and I just started my colt on it. It was hard to keep weight on my mare until I put her on the Strongid C. She gained weight and her coat is absolutely beautiful. She is such an easy keeper now. I started my colt on it two months ago and his coat is looking great. I swear by the stuff. |

So far, no negative comments. This is good news! I have never used the daily wormer. I will tell you what a nutritionalist (for horses and people) asked me when I asked about giving the daily wormer - "Do you want to feed your horses poison every day?" Her point was that if it takes poison to kill the worms, probably not doing the best for your horse. I do know that paste wormers kill the gut bacteria that helps a horse digest its food. I feed my horses plain yogurt with active culture every time I worm them (about a cup a day for 4-5 days) to help replace the bacteria. Not trying to be a naysayer here - just some food for thought. Several good horsepeople that I know of (including Ed Wright according to a friend who went to his clinic) will not worm their horses at all without doing a fecal. If they don't have worms, no need to give them the chemicals. JMHO |

Location: You never know where I will show up...... | When my babies are good and weaned in the fall, I paste them with Ivomec and get them started on the daily wormer. I feed the daily wormer to them all the time up until they are 3 year olds and they seem to grow a lot better and look healthier since I have used it. Actually, I have been using the Equi Aid 2X and had great luck with it for the last several years. |

Location: BFE, Texas | We've been using it on everything in the barn the last 2 years, in addition to routine Ivermectim worming. Our horses have never looked or felt better since they were put on it. We buy it thru our vet. Because our stud had insurance thru Pfizer by using their product, it paid for our stud's colic surgery last year (not due to worms even),which would have been a chunk out of our pockets without it. We have never had any bad reactions from it. All I can say is it's a great product, and kudos to Pfizer for a great program! |

Location: Cleveland, GA | i used the strongid c2x for a while and then my vet told me that the worms will become immune to it after a while so i decided to take mine off and just paste and seems to work for me.. that daily wormer gets expensive when you have 8.. |
