I really like these.  Where is the best place you've found them priced?

I'd like to know that also before I spend $300-400 on a pair of boots.

I bought some black ones with the square toe and they are the most comfortable boots I've EVER worn!  I got mine at Houston (at the rodeo) for $299 (full quill).  I saw that Smith Brothers has them "on sale" this month (certain colors) for $324+ tax.

I wear a size 9 in tennis shoes and an 8 in Justins.  With the Lucchese's I wore a 9 in the round toe (tried on) and an 8 in the square toe.  Go figure.

I got a pair over a Pards in Illinios, they are square toe.  Very pretty boot but they kill my feet!  They seem to run small, go figure.  Not what I expected for the price of them!

A bunch of girls in KS have bought those boots for I believe, $199.  They ordered them from a store in Clovis New Mexico.  Joes Boot Shack or something like that.  They do have a website somewhere (maybe do a search) but, I think my friend had to call the store.  I don't what colors they have for sure.  My friend got the red & the pink.

We make imitation ostrich belts with stones to match those boots & I still don't have a pair!!  (We have every color except for the new lime green.) I need to get some! I love the pink!  I do have the denim blue Ropers.  I love them but, I am wearing the color off of the toes.

My fella bought mine at the Livestock Show in Houston for $300.  Although it was stressed  HEAVILY that these are to be my 'on the town' boots and not my 'muckin in the stall' boots.  Whatever is wrong with this man?  (heehee)

Love 'em Love 'em !!

I have a purple pair and a black pair, both square toe. I had to special order mine. They run a little narrow so you might go somewhere just to try them on and the order them if you find them on sale better in a catalog. I ordered a C width.

I got over in the tub and ran warm water on them and squatted down about ten times, then just wore them around the house for the rest of the evening. (Quite a visual huh?? hehe)  Boxers and "birds" as my husband called it.

They were just right when I put them on the next day. I wear mine to work almost everyday.

I'm sworn to secrecy but here's a hint, get a buddy that works at a retail store to order them with their discount.....shhhh you didn't hear that from me!! I gave way less than retail for mine so I don't stress over riding in them.

The stores around here have Luchesse's for about $269-ish.

That is over $100 less than what I paid for my Anderson Bean's so I think I am going to work towards getting a few pair of Luchesse's (at least another pair of natural because mine are well worn and some black ones)

DCK, I have been hanging out with you too much.  First, the pink scarf.  Now, colorful boots.

You're bringing out the funky side in me!

Abby, do any of those stores have mail orders or a website?

I'm really in need of some nice comfortable work shoes.  (I'm a secretary, hee hee)
