Mary Kay

I've been thinking about getting some to use myself but then I was thinking that this would be a good "extra" money for me.  I've been wanting to get a new horse trailer and what better to have more money to pay for it.

Really, how much do you have to work for it and is it worth it?

My daughter..........I love the stuff.  They have a combo moisturizer/sun screen that is terrific and a 3 in 1 cleanser that is great too for daily care. She started doing it to get a deal on the product but I think without even trying she's getting a check every month.

I used to sell it ..... I did not "hussle" at all.  You can make $$ on it!  If you decide to do it ... go to the meetings, you learn alot and I can give you some other suggestions ....

I sell Mary Kay....  but, I do not push it at all.  I have been a consultant for pry 10 years now.  Ha ha...  Every now and then I think I am going to start working it but I live in a small town overrun with consultants.  Basically, I order it for myself, my family and my friends.  I love it!  I do know a few that are really making good money doing it.  And having fun too.

That's like my town - everybody and their dog sells it.  Not a money maker unless you get your family to buy from you.

How do you make money?  Is it a percentage of all your sales?

I live in a town of around 3000 people, not very many.  Yes you may run into some others consultant customers, but by honoring the "GO Give", I and they, we move on and find that next woman out there..... there are a lot a women out there that have not been introduced to Mary kay, and are looking for something...... I personnelly have 10 of my own team members that live in the same town as I.... we don't have a problem.....

I love the stuff!!!

My barrel racing friend sells it. She and her daughter got into the program only to for themselves and family but it has ended up paying her enough to spoil her grandkids. I would think it would be on you as a person and how much you want to get out there and sell your product.

THe only investment that is required is the starter kit of $100.  You will receive around $237.00 worth of product alone, not to mention the free training (from me)  I can travel to Kentucky (and conference call) was in nashville in January anyway, the samples the tapes, the books, and me.... I will be by your side, and a phone call away, and emial..... plus, who do you know that has skin,, write all those people down...... get anotebook, and write down everyone that you know that has skin.. friends, family, acquaintances, etc..... everyone that you know has skin... that is how i will get you started.......

I make 50% profit and so will you........

I sell Tarrah cosmetics and skin care. I'm not sure of the Mary Kay profit margin but Tarrah's starts at 30%. 40% and the highest is 45%. Depends on your order amount. But you are assured of the 30%.

The reason I chose Tarrah over something like Mary Kay is many have yet to hear of Tarrah and everyone likes something new. Mary Kay is so common with tons of consultants out there.

Tarrah is Vitamin E and Aloe based. I tryed the hand cream at a booth at our local fair and I was hooked. No one needs good skin care more than horse people. My husband throws a fit when he runs out of the shave gel.

I'm a terrible sales person but this stuff really does sell it's self. I keep a catalog with me and put a bottle of hand lotion or something on my desk at work. Everyone that uses it will say I want that.
