Location: Oklahoma		People are trying to call him and have even posted back on Craigs List to get directions to come get her. He will not respond or answer the phone.

One guy said he hass 300 acres all the hay and feed she needs and would even pay for her and he still will not respond.

I would like to know what yall think that the next step should be. I mean I thought at least he is FINALLY trying to get her help BUT apparently not if he wont return calls.So that means she is still starving.

Location: ia		as sad, mean, and illegal as it sounds....someone who knows the address needs to go over there and either steal her, or shoot her.  she can't go on like this.  its so cruel.  it would be best to steal her, and use the bullet on the owner.  IMO

eta- i can't believe the SOB would want money for her.  thats really scraping on the bottom of the barrel.  i have a lot worse things to say, but they are too naughty for the board.

Location: Oklahoma		Taht is the problem though. There are about 15 people on there willing to take her. He only left a number no address and no one can get ahold of him. He will not answer the phone or return calls. A horse rescue group even posted and said they would take her but no one can find him. Now there is a post saying they believe it to be a hoax. That the number belongs to some one that dont even have any livestock. But the point is this horse is out there somewhere starving wither it is at this number or not. She needs help but what can I do to help her if she cant be found???????????????????????????????

Maybe try and get his computer IP address and find her that way?! That poor mare!!!

We know and I know ahe is in COWETTA, OK
Just not where at in Cowetta. How could I pin point her exact location.

If this is not the phone number to the guy that has the horse then what do you do to find her?

It turns out that the mare did not get up. I was misinformed I guess.
 The attending vet PTS.
I will be insisting that the states attorney for that county prosocute the --------'s that did this.
A lot of noise was made and I am hoping that the sheriff's dept. in that county will get off his lazy butt and do his job from now on. Probably too much to hope.
Change is slow when it comes to animal cruelty.
If I had been given a little more time and knew about this situation a few days earlier she might have ben helped.
At least she isn't suffering any longer.

Location: Home of the happy egg, ten and tude		 someone should have shot the sorry excuse for a human being that did this. we see it here too, the owners are not forced to reliquish the animals and law enforcement just keeps giving them chance after chance to do something...if you cannot take care of them, then do not own them! no horseman or woman could see that everyday and not have their hearts break. i know hell has a special place for folks like that.

I have the same problem here with our sheriff, he hates to get my calls.  At least you tried, there are to many out there that "just don't want to get involved".  I applaud you for trying, you are my hero!!!!

Today is Feb/ 3rd and the two creeps that starved the two horses to death are in jail.
It hasn't been easy but they are BUSTED!!!!!!!!!!

The sheriff's office kept stalling and they never would do anything.
Even after a TV/news interview the sheriff's offices kept passing the buck.
But with orders from the State Ag and State Attorney the arrests have been made.
I vowed to see this to the end and not give up.
This area is full of scumbags that get away with this crap all of the time.
A message has to be sent out to them that this is going to STOP.
Here is a link to the second news article but since it came out the two are arrested.
Happy day to see some justice.

If only she had been in Michigan.... sigh. No that wouldn't have saved her either. Why do they go after the healthy horses and those who look like this mare starve and die....
