OK so first off hey everybody, I havent been on here for probley 8 months or so. But anyways I took my 4 yr old gelding to the vet the other day and blood work came back fine.  She got a urine sample but I havent heard the results yet on that. But I was wondering if anyone else had this happen.
He will just stand there and drip urine and if you turn him in a tight cicle he will release a little bit more than a drip. Ive seen him do this several times.
If someone else has had this happen with their horse I would like to hear what  caused it and what they did to cure the problem.

My gelding used to do this. The big dummy would not pee in public. If I was at a barrel race and saw him dripping, I would have to load him back in the trailer so he could pee. Then he was fine again. Same thing if I was out on a trail ride ..well actually he was s.o.l. till we got back home. I hope yours is something this simple too.

Sounds like he may have some kidney issues. If he were mine, I'd get him on Silver Lining Herbs Kidney and Immune as quickly as possible. I knew of a stud horse that was like this and he eventually had to be put down, but his owners did nothing to help him . . . . . anywho, I'd either call your nearest rep or contact the company and they can mail it right to ya.

I had a gelding that did this.  I had the vet look at him and he was the same way - he had a really small dingle and would not drop in public and the urine would just pool in his sheath and drip.  I guess all the other horses made fun of him.

I will see if something comes back from the urinaliss(sp?) Then if I run out of optiond I'll do the kidney cleanse.

Does he pee on himself while you are running him?

Weak bladder? Weak muscles controling the bladder?
I have seen horses that run and pee on themselves, and I think that is from pain.

My gelding does this. Vet checked for UT infection which he said was very rare. He said that the horse had over active kidneys and this is not a big issue. My horse drinks alot of water though.

Have you tried cleaning his sheath and checking for a bean? If he does have one it could be obstructing the flow of urine, which might make him drip like that.

No bean, did that.
Ive done everything, waiting on the urine sample to come back.
I think if it were his kedneys his creactnine(sp?) levels would be elevated but they werent. Blood work was good. He hasnt always done this though so it has to be some thing. Im at a loss!!??
