s george - 2010-06-29 9:45 AM I do have a question or concern maybe Bob or the people that have been using them for a while can answer. will the horses build up a immunity so to speak to them, has anyone noticed them not working as well over time as they did at the begriming, ifs this is the case I will be selective when I give them.

The cookies were formulated for selective use. They are used for hauling, competing, training young horses and in some cases when shoeing.

The cookie formula is designed to be the precursors to help the body produce the neurotransmitter serotoen. Because of the way it works your horse will not begin to diminish the ability to of the formula strength.

We also have the daily powder form.

I bought some level 4's from a friend......... tried them the first day, he walked right in the gate.
Tried them again the next weekend, a little balk at the gate, but no biggie.
Again the next day, little more balk at the gate, but he's been worse.
On the 3rd day, not good. Full out freak out at the gate. Had to get the rider off him and lead the horse into the alley and then get on. I did have him checked out yesterday by my chiro and he was really out in his ribs and withers............ so,

I talked to you on the phone and you suggested that maybe he would be a level 5........... but not really wanting to pay $40 if it won't work for my guy............. I'll try and give you a call and see what you are thinking.

If the level 4 worked but not quite what you expected then the level for your horse is level 5. We do have a money back offer and also if the level 5 is good but you want stronger then the next level is shipped no charge.

I have a horse that has major gate issues. He gets very excited just standing anywhere near the gate, and by the time we run he's a mess. He rears and spins trying to get away, then when we do get in he doesn't work good. But if he goes in good we kick butt. We've had him checked out and he isn't in pain, so what level cookie do you think would work best for him?

I just ordered THE calming/ulcer/joint combo & cookies level 6 after talking to BOB.
My question is....how long until you should notice a difference.  I  have two horses on the product...& I even waited to give the supplement until before the show as I was told it only lasts 4 hours, & I gave both horses teh calming cookies.  No change.  My horse I can handle, but I was hoping to see a difference...my daughters horse....had to be lead in by another horse b/c I didn't give him the quietexx I normally give him.  Should I give him more cookies, or does he need a stronger level??
Thanks
Also...are the human cookies out & if so how much??

I bought the Level 5 for my gelding.  I've tried everything I can think of to get him to eat them.  Didn't think it would be a problem cause he's a pig but he refuses.  Let two sit out trying to dry them out to make them crunchy instead of chewy.....That was about 2 weeks ago and they're still chewy...won't dry out.  Tried putting in little pieces and in grain....they shoved them aside and beside that I wanted something to give them without giving grain...I think its an oxy-moron to give a calming supp with grain.  Any ideas?

All the new cookies that are being made will have organic peppermint flavor in them so call the office and we will replace the cookies.

They can not be heated above 140 degrees so if you have an oven that goes that low OK but don't cook them.

You can leave them out to dry but keep them covered.

I ordered the level 5 a few weeks ago. Had a hard time getting my gelding to eat them but finally did. I saw absolutely no change in him. I called Bob and he sent me level 10 and again saw absolutely no change in him. It may be working for some horses but did nothing for mine. I should also mention my horses behavior is typical of other barrel horses-gets pretty excited at a race but not uncontrollable....i was just looking for something to take the edge off, so he didn't have so much nervous energy if that makes sense. I'm glad others have had success with the product but I certainly haven't had any. In fact, I have two bags sitting in my trailer that I have no use for.

You should talk to Bob, my horse is very high/spooky/ect, I have a level 20 on the way, I feed 8 level 10's and have had some sucess while I really dont notice him not getting excited at the gate, he is really hard to hold in the alley he was so spooky to warm up it was misserable for me it has really helped with that so I am happy with that out come, maybe he can have you feed more to try to get to the right dose.

Call the office ask for Anne and either have her send a level 20 or ask her to refund your money.

We have a few horses that only responded to a level 20 and yours may be one of those horses.

Thank you

I used my moms calming cookies last night and I could see definite results!  My only complaint is that it is hard for me to choke down the ones for people but they did work.  I am very impressed and will be calling tomorrow to order my own and some of the fasting stuff that I'm running out of.
