I was needing to order a new set of Shoofly Leggins and KV Vet Supply is out of them.  It seems the internet page for the manufacturer no longer exists, either (domain name expired).  I'm hoping and praying they didn't stop making them.  These things are awesome.

Does anyone know of a dealer or know of a comparable product?

do you mean fly boots? If so I bought a pair on ebay (a lady makes them) for $14 for a set of 4. You can order zebra or cheetah fleecing and any color for the mesh part. They are holding up great so far. My horse will wear them all day in the pasture and they stay up great!

Let me try to explain them to see if they are similar to yours.  Shoofly Leggins are fly boots, but they have fleece and velcro around the bottom.  They fasten around the top of the hoof and then velcro in a straight line all the way up to the top, as opposed to straps that tighten around the leg.  SL's have stays in them that keep them upright and off the horse's leg, eliminating any rubbing.

I have never seen anything like that, probably not what you are talking about - but you should check out these fly boots on ebay. The velcro sticks good too!

I added a link to the picture on the KV Vet Supply website.  I am kicking myself right now for not ordering these over the winter.  Sigh.

I had Kensington's and they rubbed.  The socks are a great idea, but I'm not sure I want something putting pressure on his legs, light though it may be.  I'm not so sure he'd let me put them on his back legs, either.

Looks like I may be out of luck huh.  Poo.

and yes, they are the BEST FLY BOOTS EVER!!  they stay up all day, don't rub your horse and you would think flys would go down in them, but they don't!!

I just ordered a set from Horse.com (I think).  They are made by Defender.  They are the mesh screen that has 4 velcro straps, go from knee to hoof line and have the fleece lining top and bottom.  They were 16 dollars and they work great and the velcro is very sticky.
