I'm FINALLY getting to order some BOT quickwraps! My first time using anything like this... I measured my horse according to the BOT website... he measured a tad under 12.. I was told to get a minimum of a 14 for fronts and when I go to buy a set for the hinds to get a minimum of 16 ... since I've never even seen the quick wraps in person, do you typically want them a few sizes larger? To cover more of the leg? Do you leave these on overnight when stalled before a competition or ?.. he tends to get a little stiff and I thought the BOT is the way to go.

My mare wears 12 on front, 14 on back so sounds like your measurement is right. I put mine on before I load her and she wears them until I get on to warm up before a race. I will leave them on overnight if she's stocked up or I'm running at like 8AM the next morning.

I use 14's on the front, those go to his lower knee.
I use 12's on the hind, they go right up to the BOT hock boots.

If I added BOT knee boots, I'd use 12's.
If I weren't using BOT hock boots, I'd use 14 or 16's.

I use them in the trailer and overnight at races.  I take them off a couple hours before I run.

I use 12s on the front and 14s on the rear. The 14s fit great when I have his BOT hock wraps on too.  I put them on for trailer rides, before races, after races, stalling, basically whenever I feel like it. I try to avoid putting them on in the heat of day if he is standing out in the sun, but will use them for a short period, like less than an hour, in the shade.

I use the 10" on the front and 12" on the back. My boy is about 15.1 but not real big boned. And with those I can also add the hock boots without any issues.

Thanks for the replies. My horse is 16.1, I'd say medium boned, if there is such a thing! Eventually I'd like to purchase the hock boots but it'll be a while before I even get the hind boots bought.
