Hello! So I'm looking at a new trailer and I've narrowed it down to 3. These are all just 3 horse gooseneck dressing room trailers. 2012 Kiefer, 2007 Integrity, and 2005 Exiss. All in the same price range. I sure would appreciate some input on these brands! Thank you!!

Just my personal opinion but I would spend a little more and get a Platinum or Elite. There was an Elite that had hardly been used on here priced right. Three horse. Had a nice weekend package. I think if you don't get in a hurry you can get more bang for your buck. My trailer is an Elite and has been used a lot. Never had a problem. Think it is a 2005. My trainer has a Platinum and it rolls at least three days a week. Think hers is a 2007. She has never had a problem.

Intergrity is a nice trailer.  I would forsure pass on excess and Kiefer.

However I think platinum, elite will hold the value better..like the other poster said

I've had a Barrett, Trails West, Exiss n Elite.

Barrett was my starter lvg qtr w weekender.
Solid but got me started.

TW was a super trailer w slide but all steel so it was heavier but so well balanced pulling and had several yrs but steel construction and rust is inevitable.

Exiss 4 horse for several yrs.
didnt care for the bus windows, lack of air flow.

Dont think alot of things would've lasted for the long haul.
Stuff just wasn't holding up structurally.
Roof seams kept leaking and had to reseal a few times is one issue.
Nice trailer but sold it and
bought 3 horse Elite.

Whole different ball game.
Everything is top of the line in the elite.
Outlaw conversions. Wood cabinetry, nice nice interior sound system blah blah
As you can tell it's hands down I love my Elite <3
My husband was a welder n in refining inspection.
All my buggies get the once over ;0}
Stated Elite was well put together.
Its well balanced and all aspects of this trailer meet my needs.
I take very good care of my trailers and go a lot of miles.
Depends on your budget.
I wanted good solid safe construction inside and out
as this is my ponies transportation down the road.

I shopped at the barrel races.
I'd ask questions of owners likes dislikes etc
Would you buy another trailer just like this?
Most all let me look trailers over.

Get the most bang for your buck.
Look for construction, longevity, maintence overall.
Look over construction of the living quarters also.
Big investment buy the best you can afford.
I detest trailer shopping ughhh
Bless your heart

I have a 1999 stock combo Exiss and it is made to last. We are looking at purchasing a new stock soon and will likely stick with Exiss. Our friends just bought a new one, and it seems to be made very well.

My in laws have a Kiefer, and I won't put my horses in it. We had to borrow it one weekend while "between trailers", and I noticed cracked welds on the frame!! We made it home, delivered it back and went and bought something lol. It is missing an entire slant as it just fell down going down the road, with horses in it... One of the wall panels in the dressing room caved in and had to be reglued back together... and it is missing rivets from one end to the other... most recently they were unloading a horse and a weld on the ramp cracked. They keep using it like it is, not me lol.

Personally I wouldn't go near any of those 3 brands. If those are your only options... Keifer is the best built out of those 3. You couldn't give me an Exiss or an Integrity.

I currently have a 02 Keifer and absolutly love it. We've never had any problems with it at all! We're actually in the process of building a weekender in it. My horses love it as well. We've added some lights to it just because there wasnt as many as i liked, other than that we have no complaints! When it comes time to buy another in a few years, another KB is what we'll be looking at.

Thank you all for your replies! Unfortunately a Platinum Or Elite is out of my price range at this time. I had a 03 Kiefer Built way back before they were bought out and changed hands so I was unsure how good they were now. Keep the advice coming I really appreciate it!

I really get tired of the Exiss bashing.  Mine is 16 years old, pulled all over the country, and still looks really nice.  Got my first blow out this summer, barely bent the fender as I was going 75 miles an hour down a hill.  You would have to really look to see the damage.   If you take care of them, you'll have no problem.  If you like to tear things up, then you should buy a more expensive trailer.

A friend of mine has an older Exiss and it has been a great trailer. She has pulled it all over the country and its as solid as they come.

I am now on my 2nd Integrity trailer and have had nothing but a great experience. I've had a Platinum weekender but also couldn't afford something bigger so upgraded the LQ size by buying the Integrity and love love love it. Mine is a 2007 and I have zero issues with it. The make is great and the interior is perfect. The horse area is insulated up to 3 ft and I've got the drop down windows at the head and hip. It's also got an extra 2" height to it and I love that as well.
