I have one. It has a booth, sink, microwave, refrigerator, toilet and shower. We've never stayed in it longer than a week, but it's fine for two. I didn't want a stove, because I'm not cooking at a barrel race! lol

Kitchens are great for resell value, mine doesn’t have one because I wasn’t going to cook and I wanted more storage/counter/living space. I think the size you can live with depends all on layout and personal preference. I’ve had everything from an 8 ft to a 20 ft. Right now I have a 12 and it is one of my favorites. Anything smaller than what I have would be difficult for me simply because my husband is 6’3 and weighs about 280 and we have a very active (read that as destructive!!) one year old little boy!! With that being said, this trailer has more room than the 15 foot I had before it. It all depends on how they are laid out, how much time you spend in it, and how much room you need to move. My mom goes with us a good bit, so a big bathroom is a must because many times you are getting out of the shower and getting dressed with the door closed! I like closets and cabinets because I hate bags and shoes laying out everywhere!! To each their own!

It really just depends on the particular layout and what all you want. If your traveling alone it will be perfect but for 2 people it gets a little crowded. I think our old Sundowner had a 6' short wall. It was set up like a typical 8' with a kitchenette on the long wall and couch on the short wall. The bathroom had a shower and toilet. No sink. Only a curtain for a door and you really couldn't hardly dress behind it if you needed too. It worked but for 2 of us over 3 days we needed more space. It just depends if you like roughing it or you want space.

That sundowner sounds just like mine! We travel with 2 people and a dog. It does get tight and I wish I had a table instead of the couch. I think the layout is the most important thing to look at. I wish I had closet space that I didn't have to climb over the bed to get too! But then again, it's paid for!!

I think our SD is 10 foot---with two humans and a dog, it gets tight!! Sean is 6.2/260ish lbs, Luca is a high energy level, 55 pound Siberian Husky, and all I'll say about me is I'm 5.9!!!! Have plenty of closet space, just need a little more room in shower and "walking area". We spend a lot of time in and around our trailer on trail rides, so I might feel differently if we didn't spend as much time there.

I had a 6 foot and it was too small for me. The layout wasn’t the best either but I would not go smaller than an 8ft ever again.

I recently looked at one that has a 6.5’ LQ and really liked it. I have a 13.5’ and really don’t want one that big when I buy my next one.

I have a 6' LQ. It depends on who you are staying with. My mom and I can make it work, though it is a little tight. My bf and I cannot make it work what so ever. Mine has a toilet/shower combo and small closet with a curtain for the door to the bathroom. It has a sink and a couch that runs across ways the trailer, which will fold down to a bed so you can sleep 3 people. We have done it, but we just didn't move around very much. I have a microwave, no stove. I cook breakfast in the mornings, but usually don't cook in the evenings. I would love to have a bigger one, but mine is also paid for, so it will do for now. It does have lots of cabinets though, so that is a plus. I also don't hang out in mine much, usually just to settle down in the evenings. During the day we watch the race most of the time. If I were to hang out a lot, I would definitely need a little more room. I think an 8' would be fine, but I would like to get a 10' one day.
