The article is older but I thought the results were interesting and worth sharing.

Very interesting, thank you for sharing :-) I have my doubts about them but I know of many people that plain love them.

I have used them for the horse and myself a few years ago. Glad the science is expanding

I wish they would have x-rayed feet. My friend used to have one, she was having feet problems and she has x-rays before and after 5-6 weeks and she had so much sole than he ever had. She sold horse and the people who bought the horse also got the theraplates with him.

Interesting read! I'd love to see a larger study done.

Anybody else think it’s kind of funny that they made the control group stand on a  platform not turned on ?   Why not just leave them in their stall, they are not receiving the therapy either way.    I understand the placebo effect but I doubt horses cognitive abilities are enough to think standing on the plate next to one turned on is giving them benefits.

To me itโ€™s good science...you keep your placebo identical to your test subjects except for the factor youโ€™re testing.

We had rats way back in grade school that we tracked growth rate on who each got a different beverage - water, sugar water, milk. Rules were if one rat was being held all 3 had to be, if one cage got cleaned, all 3 had to be, so on and so forth - leave no suspicion that any outside factors could have affected your result.
