Has anyone used both? Switched from one to the other? I'm currently using Platinum CJ and looking to switch to Animal Element. I appreciate feedback anyone has. Thanks

I know your asking if used both- but.... I have never used Platium CJ but we use AE Sexton and have for over 3 years! We love it and love hose it makes our horses look, feel and perform. Plus it is all natural human grade ingredients ( I have capsuled
Some up and taken myself!) it is a great price.
Message me if you have any questions or looking for a dealer

I have not had experience with the other brand but I LOVE animal element. My horse 's are always shiny, no coughs, colds.

My question is what are you wanting out of the Animal Element that makes you want to switch? In my opinion, they are two different supplements, so it's not really comparing apples to apples. I have fed both and am currently been feeding CJ; I've fed it for quite a few years. I feel CJ has given me better results overall, with multiple horses, than what AE did for me. I'm not at all saying AE is a bad supplement or didn't work (I used it to fill out a topline), I just have had better results with CJ.

Have used both AE Detox and Platinum Performance. IMO AE Detox is not an overall supplement - I did get some ok results with top line - but needed to supplement with additional products for hoof, coat, calming this and increase performance that. Used AE for over a year for a good try. Have been on PP regular for a year and their hooves stopped chipping 3 months ago (all are barefoot) get trimmed every 5 wks and I would almost swear they have shoes on and they are even shinny with their winter coat and mud. All are filled out nicely and got rid of the grass belly on old my mare. I do add PP Ortho-Chon II joint for 1 horse that had hock issues but that's all nothing else so I'm actually spending less $$$.

Thank you - that's exactly what I was looking for. I'm currently using CJ, however I'm also adding a few of the supplements found in AE, like raspberry leaf, which has made a tremendous difference for her. I didn't realize they're not apples to apples. I really appreciate you're feed back. Thank you.

I used PP and AE together years ago, and I think I may go back to that. My horse was in such good condition and was really mentally his best.

I've used both. One time I was switching from Platinum to Detox on just one horse. That particular horse had been on Platinum for many years. His overall body condition went down dramatically on the Detox. The dealer said maybe it was because he had been on Platinum for so long? I don't know; put him back on Platinum and he looked great. So fast forward a few years... I decided to give Detox another try because I love In The Zone. This was on two different horses. Was—once again—disappointed with the results. No bloom, no top line growth etc. I put them on Dynamite and both look fantastic now.

I just don't like Detox. I've never had the "wow" results that others have had. Now ITZ by AE, that stuff I LOVE!

Raspberry leaf is super cheap if you shop organic food grade compared to equine label - not a reason by itself to switch IMO.

We feed the regular PP. I’ve fed a number of all in one’s over the years (but nothing by AE for the record) and PP was the first time I felt like horses that already looked good in my eyes just bloomed. Heck - my pretty dang cowboy-esq father in law asked us what the heck we were feed our horses, they **** near glowed.

He feeds it now too.

Between us and him we have 7-9 head on it and using PP’s bulk barn program the daily cost is super reasonable. We just paid $700 for 150lbs which will last us between 4 and 5 months - about $25/mo/head. We feed 1 scoop day under normal conditions. I feed 2 scoops/day during the season when hauling.

If we had something that needed joint help I wouldn’t hesitate to try the CJ based on the results we see with the regular.

Platinum made my mare a freaking nut case.  I switched to OE Align and instead of a feed through joint I inject and do Adequan.

My horse has been on Platinum for a few years. I was concerned about switching however after reading all the comments I think I'll keep her on Platihum CJ. I'm Canadian, so it's a little extra, especially since we can't have the US product shipped directly to Canada. I started using ITZ too, and really like what it's done for my mare, which is why I thought I might try her on the detox. Thanks for your input.

I've heard this before. When I asked my vet about it - she's why I'm on Platihum - she told me it's because horses feel so good on it.

Thank you - Love your story! My mare and I were at our vet's and a client of her's walked in looked at my mare and said "Wow!". That should tell me everything. I'll have to find a health food store that has raspberry leaf. I live in a small town in Canada. We don't have much. I really appreciate all the feedback. I think I'll stay with what we're doing.
