I'll also say, the company is great to work with. If you message them on Facebook, they are really helpful. Calling also, but their hours are wonky because of Australia office. One time, I asked them if they had any in their stateside warehouse for faster shipping and I got it within 3 days as a favor. They can sometimes do that. They keep some in a warehouse here, but most ships from overseas.

I use the omeprazole granules and they are bomb. To feed them I just put a bit of honey or oil on the feed and dumb them in, or if I have a sickly-ulcer horse that isn't eating or a horse that can pick them out, I just put it in a syringe with honey and squirt it down them.
The granules WORK. I have used the pastes in the past, but the granules are much cheaper.

Which product do you all recommend to start with to treat ulcers that they offer?I haven’t scoped my horse but just thinking I have added some extra stress to his plate at 18 years old. We moved then I took his only horse friend away, so he is now alone. I have noticed some of my wooden post have chew marks on them also.

My vet recommended it for an ulcer prone horse I had which I was suprised. It does take some time to receive as it comes by international mail. I still use Ulcerguard because of the results I saw personally on my horse. Just as an added precaution I add the regular AbPrazole the day before day of and day after competing - this includes the moment she gets on the trailer. My vet suggests for ulcer treatment AbPrazole Plus with the probiotic. I already feed Forco so I don't bother. I buy it in the bulk container as I find it easier to scoop than to rip open the individual packets.
