Possibly a dumb question here but I’ve been wondering if anyone has ever tried barrel racing in a synthetic saddle? I’ve never personally owned one but they seem much lighter weight. I’ve tried researching my question on google and no luck. Would like some thoughts on it....

Would not put a synthtic saddle on any of my horses, they are junk. If you are wanting a light weight saddle look into a Bob Marshall sport saddle or a Jackie orTammy sport saddle from Circle Y..

Master Saddles make a really nice synthetic barrel saddle. It is leaps and bounds above the typical synthetic trail saddles. Contact Taylor Joseph, she could help you out!

Circle Y makes a synthetic Josey saddle, Lightspeed is what they call it. I would love to try one out but they are still pretty pricey for a synthetic.
