Location: MN | Are Nettles stirrups really worth the money? Because holy crap...I did not know they were that spendy!! What makes them special and why do you like them? Did you personally see a difference once you switched over to them? |

| I got a pair. Believe it or not, they were given to me for free. I really enjoy them, but honestly I dont think I'd pay that much for a pair lol! I'm kinda cheap tho. |

That is good to know. I rode in a saddle that had Nettles and I wasnt sore at all the next day. I was riding in a Bob Marshall and went to a G bar G...so I'm not sure if it was just the saddle itself or the stirrups. That's why I'm hesitant to buy a pair as the new saddle I bought came with aluminum stirrups. |

Can you elaborate on the levelers and why they make such a difference? |

If you check previous threads there is quite a bit of info on them but in a snapshot, they sit your foot level and alleviate knee and ankle pain (which they totally do!). And I love how they tilt so you can get up and hustle or sit down and really get your heels down. I’ve also said this before but it’s worth repeating, I really think it would be almost impossible to get a foot hung in a stirrup with them because of how they do tilt. If you were in the ground they would tilt and release your foot. Love them and I never ride without them on my saddles. When I jump on a friend’s horse I quickly remember how miserable it is to ride in normal stirrups. I used to swear by Walls but my eyes have been opened, lol. Contact Rockyroad on here and she’ll take care of you. |

Location: Iowa | I just received my first pair of nettles. They came with a saddle I purchased. I will DEFINANTLY be trying to purchase another pair. My feet are so balanced and I have no pain in my hips and knees! My feet feel so good in them I am positive I will never loose a stirrup during a run! Do they ever sell used ones?? |

I’ve occasionally seen people sell them in the FB tack groups but it’s very rare. That is how I got my first pair though, they were new with tags and I got a steal on them! Girl didn’t even know what she was missing out on, lol!! (Edited to add: rare that you see used ones with Levelers)
