Did your horse ever stand with one back leg behind him? and then both legs? off and on? thanks
Bump
I had 1 horse do this and it was hind gut ulcers.
When one is parked out like that, most times in my experiences its stifle issues.

Not stifle or hocks or feet :) Its usually just one leg can be either one thanks everyone
Mine doesn't usually stand square, but he doesn't stick his leg out at a weird angle or anything, and it's not always the same leg.
I knew one gelding that camped out like that and it was kidney issues. That is of course only one of many but jus another idea to throw in the mix while you're looking for answers.
My friend just had her mare evaluated and it was a combination of hocks and SI needing injected.
Yes. Ours with KS will stand camped out or almost refuse to stand square -always has 1 leg cocked when he needs injected.
His KS is right in front of his SI though - we were originally x raying for the SI when we found it.
