The Wranglers Image! He hasn't been promoted hardly at all but every baby I've seen has been high quality. Darla Corff has his winningest offspring (Miss Angel Image) and has qualifed for the American at least once that I know of. Wrangler's dam, Joanna Kate was a heck of a racehorse too.

What are some stallions that you know of or that may be local to you that seem to be a best kept secret?

For me it would be Reds Western Native and Frenchmans Bogie. Both have produced some amazing performers, a very affordable stud fee but have for the most part remained off the radar.

I agree with both of your selections, however, Reds Western Native is deceased.  Do they still have semen on him?

I do not believe so. However he has young foals out there still, so I thought it was important to still list him even though he is deceased.

I'd have to list Cajo...who is now deceased...as one of the best. I ran a little Paint gelding, Batman, by him and that little horse could flat fly with the best of them. We also had a daughter of Cajo who produced some very memorable, accomplished get in the barrel pen. IMO, he was a PERFECT outcross stallion.

I've tried getting in touch with Merrill to breed to RWN (I know he passed but assumed they had straws), but I've never been able to

She is on Facebook, have you contacted her there? I can probably get you a phone number.

Yeah I’ve messaged her there =\

I never had any luck contacting her in the past either, before he died.
