I'm looking at an 8' wide 2 horse bumper pull trailer with mangers.

I have pulled a 7' BP but never an 8' wide. Anyone have an 8' wide BP? Are they harder to pull/manuver around?

Will the seller let you hook it up and go for a drive?

my initial thought is you won’t have as sharp a turning radius and you’ll jackknife sooner - I once took out a taillight on a friends truck with a 7’ wide BP, the nose tapered and then squared off.  I had it wrapped around pretty good though, I’ve never been great at backing BP’s.

My friend pulls an 8 ft wide 3 horse bumper pull with mangers, loves it, and hasn’t had any problems.

We had a Pete Zanetti 2 horse straight that was 8 foot wide, I loved it, my horses loved it. My fiance was cranky about it when he drove because on some of the more rural areas that we covered it was ditch on one side, yellow line on the other and hte Petie Z filled up ALL of the in between.  A good freind has it now and I dream of stealing it back all the time
