We will be moving around OKC or Tulsa. I'm a CAT scan tech and need to be near a larger city for work. Plus my husband is a sheet metal worker for the union. They will put him to work as soon as we get out there. I don't care for a really dry climate, that's why I want to stay north east. I don't mind the heat, it get super hot and humid here in IL. We are an 1 hour south of chicago. Taxes are out of hand here. Politics don't make any sense and our roads are falling apart. Next year to renew our truck plates, it will cost us $208! Property taxes just went up again. The negative 50 degree weather in the winter just tops the cake. We want something else, plus he ropes and I barrel race so why not go somewhere where we love to do those things. We just went out to Guthrie a month ago for the barrel bash. We really liked the area. We do have 2 small children so a good school district is a must. I have been keeping my eyes open for property. I grew up  in Ocala, FL and the heat down there is terrible, esp with the humidity!
