Location: Arkansas | Sean called me from the barn at 7 am--never a good thing! He found Sonny with a boo boo. (Apparently UW and baking powder are gonna be our friends for awhile!) |

We at first thought it was deeper than it is. So thankful it's not as bad as we feared. I know it could have been much much worse. . . We try so hard to be diligent about our pasture being safe; when we got home we looked at every building, wire, barn, trailer, post, tree, etc we had and found nothing out of place, nothing protruding, no hair or blood. We can only come up with maybe he rolled and something was in the ground that cut him. |

We had just done their tetanus shots 3 months ago thank goodness! Sean looked again for what he could have done it on when we went to doctor him tonight. . . Still no idea |

Location: Arkansas | We had a gate in one end of the barn that Sean thinks could have been our problem; I don't think so, but he took it down this am! Sonny is just normal as can be, so we are very thankful I appreciate everyone's good thoughts and prayers and replies.

Location: Oklahoma | That's a huge difference! I have always used underwoods! love it. But I messed up one time, Had a dog get attacked by another dog and she had gashes so I used it on her she got where she hated it and it was not healing it. I took to vet and he said not to use it bc it was burning her. My horses have never acted like it burns. So anyways it may have been just her. |

Location: Kentucky | Can you use Underwoods in eyes? My gelding ripped his eye lid and had to have stitches. Its been a week and still raw on part of it. I've been using the ointment the vet gave me. You can put a horse in a padded stall, and they will still get cut on something! Think mine was caused by a crack in his feed bucket. Think maybe he rubbed his eye on it. Got caught in the crack and then ripped it. That bucket got thrown away. Thats the onlything is his stall that could have done it. sigh. Always something! |
