| I'm thinking of trying hemp seed oil for my older gelding. I've tried so many supplements and feeds and I'm still not finding the one that makes a difference. Ready to try something else! What brand hemp seed oil do you use/like? I looked on silver lining at theirs and it can't be shipped to CA ?? looking for pure cold pressed.

| I get mine from HelpMeHemp.org its 100% pure organic oil, nothing added. Check out their website. I know the owners personally and they are a wonderful family who own and operate this business themselves. I went to their store last night and she was filling the jars when I was there. Pretty neat process. My horse and my dogs get a squirt of hempseed oil daily, they love it. Plus we use a bunch of their products on ourselves, including the oil. I'm not 100% sure on shipping to California though.. I dont know why she couldn't... they ship all over the place! I know she ships stuff to Arkansas because my mom and sister both order from her. |

| Also, they offer the hemp seeds if you dont want to mess with the oil. Sometimes I toss a handful into his feed bucket and he LOVES them. I use them in smoothies or yogurt.. they remind me of sunflower seeds, the taste. I dont care for the taste of the oil, but my horse and dogs lick their feed pans after eating it. |

Location: mi | Have you tried CDB. I use the Kahm brand for my older gelding. Makes a big difference in his ring bone limp. and its not super expensive. Depending on how much they end up needing to maintain. |

| I spoke with the owner of HelpMeHemp.org yesterday and asked her if they can ship to California. she said they do. They ship worldwide in fact.. she just just shipped a bunch off to Japan! One thing I've learned in speaking with her is to chose your oil wisely... make sure there are no fillers or anything extra added in. You want to make sure its 100% pure and organic. A lot of people wonder if this hemp oil tests... ok, the oil is greenish tinted in color, it's pure hempseed oil... my husband, who is a truck driver takes this stuff and he gets randomly drug tested all the time and has never had an issue. There website is still going thru some changes and their equine line isnt posted up yet but if you're interested in purchasing a gallon or half gallon all you have to do is ask shes very sweet and helpful... when I recently had to put down my horse, she and her children came by my house to say they were sorry for my loss and she brought me a wonderful gift bag full of goodies from the store.. it just made my day. |

| ajs2002, I have not tried cbd for him. I did look into cbd but unsure where to get some that is pure and true. Thanks, want2chase3. I agree I'm super picky about ingredients and quality etc. If I have done my research correctly, hempseed oil should not have any thc becasue its from the seed and not from the bud/flower. They sound like a nice company, I'll try to check it out. there are so many companies popping up its hard to keep up lol |

| I feed Praise hemp oil and Protine Fiber. My old horses do increadible on it. Keep weight on easier, and I notice improvement in thier movment and spunkeyness. It makes my heart happy to see the old boys kick up their heels and play a bit. I'm in canada so I'm not sure your location and brand options though. |
