| I'm finishing up taking down all my Christmas decorations and decided to take a break... boys and hubby are at baseball practice so I've got the house to myself, I cant get this thought out of my head while I'm putting stuff away so I'm putting it out here to see if anyone feels or would have the same opinion as me. So in my search for a new vet, I came across a "person" who seemed very nice and knowledgeable over the phone when we spoke last week. I dont know anyone personally who has used this person so I'm going to do some digging around... facebook etc etc.. I find this person's Facebook, not hard to do, its associated with the business name of the clinic... so I get to looking and see this person's very obvious political views, meaning pretty much every post is political, a few veterinarian tips here and there, but I'd say 95% political viewpoints... I dont really want to say which way but let's just say its completely opposite of mine and my family. Now, I dont have an issue with someone having a different opinion on politics, AT ALL, but its extremely EXTREME, if you know what I mean. I'm not in a bind to find a new clinic or vet but had been considering options... anyway my hubby looked over my shoulder when i was snooping and he said who is the heck is this?? I told him and he said he will not give this person a dime ... yes, my hubby is a lot more opinionated on politics than I am. obviously I'll respect my husbands wishes and not use this person.. but I'm just curious if it would turn ya'll off too... in my opinion, political stuff shouldn't be associated with your business, if you're a professional... I may be wrong but I just feel strongly about that. People can find out so much about you nowadays by just a click of a button.. I'm not discounting this person's abilities or practice because of their political view, but my hubby said no way, don't care how good they may be, but he won't support "that". I get it and frankly I thought it was foolish to even put it out there like that when you're a professional in this industry.. I just wonder how many others feel the same Time and place for all that... on a side note I probably would have had this person out still until I got busted lol! It's just how I am. Hope this made sense ... |

| There was a story just this past week on our local community Facebook group that a pretty popular Mexican restaurant insulted an elderly man for wearing his MAGA hat in the restaurant.. the hostess asked him to remove his hat and offered him a different cap to wear because the workers in the kitchen were getting offended.. I'm not even joking... he paid his bill and left. Now 2 things are happening, either people are boycotting the restaurant or they are going in droves wearing their MAGA hats ... true story.. we rarely eat out, so it's not a place we would frequent anyway but I know which one it is and I will say we have eaten there in the past. No plans on returning. |

Location: Kansas | I am 100% in agreement with your husband. I do not and will not support a far left advocate. Moderate maybe but this guys sounds like he may be a tad radical. You should keep your opinions more in check when you're in a business such as his. After AT&T bought DirectTV our bill went through the roof. Lately I've found out AT&T owns CNN. If it wasn't for it being a total hassle I would change providers. |

I know hes ultimately right by not wanting to support a person like that. It was a bit over the top, their postings ... bashing the first lady and all as well.. I've also seen alot of stupid banter coming from the right as well from people that shouldn't be sharing their radical views when they are professionals within the community on Facebook for everyone and anyone to see. One being a doctor. It's just in poor taste no matter which side your on. I can handle you being a liberal Democrat if you can show some class and be respectful! Heck, I'll even support your business but if you are obnoxious and combative... nope... and same goes for the right |

I went to the Trump rally in Dallas. As we got close to the entry the lines kind of shifted and I got behind 5 of the prettiest YOUNG Mexican girls. They were laughing and talking and the thing that really surprised me is that NONE of them were speaking Spanish. There were several Republican candidates for offices all over the state and Trump introduced them. They all got big cheers so I am thinking the Mexicans that don't like Trump can't vote anyway. Still not a good way to run a business. I live at the end of a dead end road. I have a Trump flag out front and no one down my road will wave or speak to me. Personally I kind of like it that way. You know who your friends are! |

I saw yesterday where a guy spit on a fellow wearing a MAGA hat. He was prosecuted and is going to spend 90 days in jail. Deserves every day of it. Now let's get Jussie Smollett jailed. |
