We think we've narrowed my horse's issues down to his hindgut. My vet prescribed sulfacrate and recommended either Stride's 21 day hindgut program or Succeed. Curious which one people prefer.

I have not used Stride, but have heard it is a good product. I have used Vet Formula Succeed Paste for hind gut problems, and it has worked very well on different horses. Great product. The regular strength Succeed is good also, but the VF has some extra ingredients, to get things going in the right direction quicker, and then go to the regular product for maintenance.

I have had good luck with all Stride products. As well as the 21 day hind gut and GI Calm. And have had customers that have had good luck with it as well

For those of you that used and liked the Stride, did you do anything for ongoing maintenance? I certainly can't afford $200+ a month supplements forever.

Pending the horse. I've kept one on ADR. But the ones I run and haul stay on Lifeline.
