Anyone have any experience feeding this? It's pricey but it claims it's the only oral joint supplement clinically proven to reduce the need for injections. An 84 day supply is $154.95 but it comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee.. Just looking for it to be more a preventive rather than a treatment plan. Any experiences with it?

Its been around for a while and I consiodered it when I thought I needed an oral joint supplement. My vet is actually anti injection unless abaolutely necessary and still says that if there was a product that could be used to prevent injections. she would recommend it. LOL. SO my horses get full series adequan annually and polyglycan/Legend as needed on race weekends. I know they are proven to work and way less expensive anually than the GLC. The GLC will run you 1800.00 for one horse for 1 year. My adequan is 350/year, poly is 600 a year. So I'm sticking with that. LOL
I have used GLC 5500 and their Acti-statin Equine (by the same company). Love them both. Had one stop dragging a hind toe and went on to win (rodeos, 1D's, qualifiers, etc) with no other injections and had my vet tell me he didn't need any. Vets cannot test/experience/use/recommend every product on the market - no one can. And not every product works on every horse. However, I have had outstanding results with these products on my horses. I am not sponsored by them nor am I a rep for them. I buy them at retail. About $600-650/horse/year. Hope you find what works that you can afford for your horse.
Thank you. Both different and interesting perspectives.
