I'm thinking of what I will breed to next year.  I'm wanting to stay away from FDD as my mare is double bred.  I am looking to get a quiet mind with some bone and I already have a Fire Water Flit bred 2 yr old out of this mare that I absolutlely love.

I'm breeding to FGG next year. I'll be crossing my Corona Cartel gd. I'm really looking forward to their baby.

I say FGG all the way! We have a yearling that is very correct and a sweetheart to be around. She's responsive and wants to please on the ground, and so athletic. I've been around a few Irish Pays and they all had conformational issues (the mares had multiple previous foals that were correct and straight legged), so that really shied me away from breeding to him. That might not be the case with them all, but it definitely deterred me.

I really don't think you could go wrong with either! Choose one for next year and the other for the year after?! lol.

I have a 6yo Irish Pay gelding that I would take 100 more of. He has character and the most personality of any horse I've owned. He is well put together and balanced. Very user friendly. I have spent the last 3 of 4 years being pregnant and he has handled the time off and restarting very remarkably, always picking up where he left off. I can't stand to see him sit while I am pregnant currently so I did send him out for additional training this summer and I have gotten good reports back from the trainer.

FGG is on my short list. I haven't owned one but been around several and they have very quiet demeanors but plenty of talent and what it takes to win. He is my #1 pick for my hotter FG mare. I decided to not breed her this year but it would have been to him if I had decided to.

We currently have a FGG out of a Dash For Perks daughter in the barn. He's quiet, laid back. 3 years old. Currently swinging a rope on him and will move up to the sled/live cattle soon. I think he probably didn't progress as quickly as the straight cow bred horses we've had. Kind of had to just slow down with him and let him find his own pace, but he is a good colt. Moves pretty and effortlessly. Barrel training is next on the list.

Based off my experience with him, I wouldn't mind owning one.

I have a FGG yearling out of a race mare that I'm pretty partial to. He's a nice colt with a good mind.

Make sure you like grays, because there's a 50/50 chance that you'll get one.

FGG!

I have a weanling our of a Dash for Perks mare that is outstanding.   There are alot of nice stallions to pick from but I sure like what FGG is producing.

I have a two year old FGG out of a Stoli daughter and she is just a sweetheart! Always the first to the fence to see you.  Really kind and willing disposition.  I would definately take another one.

I bred a couple client mares to Fiestas Gotta Gun. Farm was great to work with. Will be exciting to see them hit the ground next year!
