Location: Dubach, LA | It looks like I'm going to have to do it myself. I've tried RV wash without success. How do I clean up the white skin and polish the aluminum? |

| I take my trailer to a Blue Beacon truck wash. Fastest and best wash available IMO. |

| They have them all over....they are a chain...but i used the one in Oklahoma City. I washed my truck and trailer [small bumper pull] last week and it cost $34.50 That included "brightening" the aluminum trailer. |

| I got one trailer professionaly polished a couple of years ago - made it look brand spankig new. However a couple of weeks ago i found this spray in my dads shop, decided to give it a whirl to get the bugs off the front of the trailer. Worked like a charm. Started to use it on the yellowy/grey grime that had built up on it too (previous owner didn't wash it much, didn't look bad but didn't look great) Some elbow grease and a wash cloth and it is sparkling. However handwashing your entire trailer with a wash cloth is not ideal for most people - its certainly not how I wanted to spend my sunday afternoon. Strong windex, thats all it takes. Elbow grease is up to you. |

Location: North Dakota | My father-in-law used to drive truck for a living. So he had a contact at a truck repair place. Every couple years, I take my trailer in to get acid washed. Doesn't take too long, is cheap (in my opinion) and they do a great job. They are just a local shop. They're used to sparkling up semi trucks, but they do a good job on my horse trailer too! |

| Just to clarify, when i take my trailer to the Blue Beacon truck wash, I am having my trailer "acid washed"....or as they call it, "Deoxidized". |

| Acid Wash is OK - it does take the finish off and will wear down the decals on the trailer. It will make it shinier for now, but duller down the road. Get a polish and do it right. |

| EQ solutions make a great trailer wash product. We were amazed with how nice our trailer looked after we used it. |
