Curious what ever happened with Clayton?  Has he produced anything?  Is he still around?

Thanks!  I haven't seen him mentioned anywhere for years- didn't know if something had happened to him.

The idea of cloning does not sit well with many people.  Charmayne not running barrels on him tells you volumes.

I was thinking about Clayton and the Hot Shot clones the other day.  Also the three Frenchmans Guy clones.  I've not heard a word about them since they were first announced.  I kind of think the clone thing was an experiment that just didn't really pan out.  The RIO for the process had to be pretty low.

Pretty sure the horse that Taylor has been running,  ANOTHER SHOT OF LICORICE is Hot Shots clone and she has been making some really nice runs on him.

Ditto is a winner. Maybe the process has been refined. Ditto is four. How old are the Hot Shot clones now?

They have some really nice babies coming up by Another Shot.  They bred him to some really good mares, so it's a pretty safe bet that there will be some good ones hitting the barrel pen in the next few years.

She stalled them behind me at Sr. World. It was so weird to stand there and look at the two completely different geldings and know they were basically the same horse.

The FG clones were for semen. That is my opinion. Personally, I would not spend the money to breed to FG because of the clones

I just dont get spending all of the money that gets invested on getting a foal on the ground, to have a grade horse. Or did AQHA change their poli y on accepting/registering clones?

I don't think AQHA would register them if they were not by FG himself, last I checked they aren't accepting clones as AQHA sires?

They would have no way of knowing.  The DNA would be the same.

She said from the start she wasn't going to run him
