Coffee lovers come hither - what brand do you drink and how to you brew it?

I have switched from Black Rifle Coffee to SM Roasters.  Both Veteran owned.  SM Roasters has more zip and donates all proceeds directly to Veterans.  I was drinking Dunkin Donuts before switching to Black Rifle.

What is your favorite brand and how to do brew it?  I use just a general drip coffee machine.

Any coffee is fine to me, so long as it isn't a day old or burned.  I prefer strong, hot, and black.  I'm not a coffee snob, and I detest paying $4-$5 for a cup of coffee.  I hate feeling stupid because I don't know the difference between a venti and a grande, and I hate feeling unsophisticated because I'm not into macchiato mocha cinnamon peppermint pumpkin coffee.  I hate stepping up to order a cup of coffee and being looked at by a barista like I'm a stupid hick because I don't have black horned rim glasses and I don't wear skinny fit jeans. Hell, I never knew what a barista was until a couple years ago.

I like coffee, but to me coffee is coffee, dont really care what brand it is, lol..I just use those little coffee pods I get at HEB and I have a cheap Farberware from Wal-mart that I brew my coffee in, super easy and I dont have to be a brain surgeon to use it..

I'm a regular ol Folgers girl and have the Bunn slow drip brewer.  My brother left me some Black Rifle coffee and it was pretty good, just not good enough for me to order online and justify the extra expense.  I do refuse Starbucks though.  Their regular coffee is too strong for me, even though i'm a bitter and black fan.  One of our designers brought me their Americana blend one time and it was pretty tasty, but I refuse to support their business, pay their prices, or wait in the long lines for a simple cup of coffee.  Honestly McDonalds coffee is pretty tasty I think if i'm on the go.

Interesting.

Black Rifle is good coffee but honestly I don't lik the image of the SOF Warrior being used to sell coffee.  I think it that image is to be used than all the proceeds should go directly to a SOF Warrior Fund.

We always drank Folgers and will probalby return because SM Roasters is pricey but they do so much good for our Veterans.

Anyone try McDonalds brand coffee?

I love McDonalds coffee if i'm going to get a cup while out, but haven't bought grounds in stores.  I did try the K Cups once back when I had a Keurig, but must have gotten a defective box, as mucho grounds always ended up in my cup.

I hear ya on the Black Rifle and agree.  My brother is a veteran, and from Austin, so he's really into it and left me a bag last year.  He lives in Austin now and is a police officer.  When my brother asked my husband what he thought of the BR coffee, husband said, "tastes like Austin".

That is so interesting.  When BRCC first came out we were all in.  There has been some recent backlash from Vet's on BRCC because of the commercialzation of the SOF Warrior.

I like MCDonalds Coffee too.   Starbucks tastes burnt to me.  In fact the first time we ordered it we took it back and told them it was burned.  They laughed at us.  Country hicks that we are..lol.

We typically drink Folgers.  The CB isn't a fancy coffee type of guy.  But, I do have some Michigan Cherry that a friend from MI sent to us, and, we treat ourselves with a coffee that we get from a local winery called Wake The Dead.  We use a drip coffee maker thingy.

I really like Starbucks Cafe Verona blend and I make it with an espresso machine. I like strong, dark coffee with creamer. But the very best I've ever drank was in Jamaica. Blue Mountain Coffee beans I think is what they're called.

We usually stick to Folgers but will buy Texas State of Mind brand sometimes.  It's pricier but my husband knew these boys that started the company so we try to support them at times.  It's really good.  Coffee is coffee to me though and I like dark and black.  I despise overrated Starbucks.  Honestly, just this Christmas my SIL was telling us her favorite coffee to buy off the shelf is McDonalds.  I haven't tried it yet.

I like Folgers.    Regular - medium blend.

I'm to cheap for Keurig and those little cups.   I'm too cheap for bought coffee such as Starbucks or others.  I won't drink gas station coffee unless it's cappuchinno (which isn't coffee by my standards.)

Not sure why I like Folgers....my real friend is Coffee Mate flavored creamers.

All of them. I like all of the coffees.  (Not really, I'm not a fan of folgers or maxwell house - but I will drink it if that is all that's available).  McDonalds coffee & Black Rifle are both good.  Some of the Starbucks blends are okay if you make them at home (especially if you grind the beans yourself).  I like the Peet's coffee dark roast versions.   And recently to change things up a friend got us some of the CrioBru which is cocoa beans that are roasted, ground and brewed like coffee.  It's okay by itself but about half & half with a good dark roast coffee in the french press and it's a nice change to add a different flavor to your coffee that isn't sweet.

We have a regular drip coffee pot w/ the single cup (k-cup) option on the side, a french press and an espresso machine.  Just depends on what I feel like on what I use to make it.  Since I've been working from home I brew myself a regular half pot in the morning but  I try to only brew one cup in the afternoon (If a brew a half pot I'll drink a half pot) so I use the k-cup part of the coffee pot or the french press.

If I'm still working from home come summertime I'm going to have to master the art of a good cold brew.  I love iced coffee in the summer.

I love coffee and used to only buy beans and grind them myself.  I never really stuck with a specific brand.  If I saw a flavor in a bean I liked I would get it.  Then I was just spending too much money on gourmet coffee beans.  Now I buy plain old Folgers Black Silk.    I use a drip coffee maker.  Had a Keurig.... threw it away!  Coffee was just ICK.   Bought a percolator.... to me this is THE BEST flavor.  Well I used it up/burned it up.  Back to the drip coffee maker now.  I have it on a programed timer.  Some mornings I wake up well before the coffee has started dripping and I am nothing but mad because I have to wait for it to drip.   Ha!

Another one for Folgers and a Bunn drip coffee maker. Every once in awhile I'll buy a can of Don Francisco's Vanilla Nut coffee when I'm feeling fancy or I lost my little coffee can I use for a dog food scoop.
