| I use large trash cans for my horse blankets and sheets. The trash cans are very quick and easy and allow for easy access as well as keeping the blankets clean. I don't have time to fold the blankets and store them away...And I live where the temps fluctuate dramatically and one day I am using winter blankets and the next day, the horses may only need a light weight sheet. |

Location: Northern CA | I use the heavy canvas hay bale bags. I fold them and pack them on end with a piece of masking tape that has size and weight/fill so all you have to do is unzip and the pull the one you need. |

Location: CTX | After losing some straps over the last week (my heathens are normally not blanketed so they really went to town on them.... ) I went online and ordered a couple more of them (big sale going on at Schneiders!) and was thinking how I could store them.... Well, I recently got one of those big haybale bags and have not used it yet, so now that is my blanket storage bag..... They will stay in the house (hopefully for a very long time!!! ) until I need them. |

Location: west of East Texas | I rarely ever use blankets so I've had them stored in the plastic 'bag/case' that comforter sets come in. Heavy plastice with a zipper and kind of a big rectangle. I could get two blankets in one case. Unfortunately, those blankets had to come out last week and the comforter case was so old that the plastic cracked. Now that we are back in the 70 deree weather, I have the blankets folded and rolled tight with haystring tied around them. I'll have to buy some totes or something to seal them up. |

| I get these bags from Amazon. I have tried the shrink bags and just haven't had the best luck with them. I like the storage bags with the vents on the side from SmartPak too but they are pricey. These have been my favorite so far. (For big, heavy blankets I would go with the XXL size) https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B075W6L35S/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s01?ie=UTF8&th=1 |

I love those's, I just ordered some to store my human blankets in. But I ordered the ones that have the little windows in so I can see what I have in the bags without having to dig threw them looking for something. |
