Give me some credit. I'm not that much of a basic *****.

Cool! Thanks for the heads up.
I have used Ivermectin for 40 years on myself.
Nothing is going mask the taste of it.
Just live with it.

Do you use the Human or the Livestock form of Ivermectin? And since you have been useing it for 40 years on yourself what is the reason for useing it, just curious here.

I'm curious as well:)

The old ranchers around here dose it by weight, just like the animals and were told to do so by vets,. The vets researched and said they were the same molecularly, but I would still ask a doctor. I am not going to say who exactly told me this. I don't want to get them in trouble. That is why I say to check with an MD who hasn't sold out yet. Also, I was being sarcastic above. Fully aware nothing is going to make it taste good.?
I was born and raised in Deep South Texas and never heard of a human taking the Livestock form of Ivermectin, around Livestock all my life and never heard this, LOL. I guess you learn something new every day, The first time I have heard of taking the Livestock form of this was when the Covid started making news. I would never take it (the Livestock form). Just sounds foolish to me. Now adays all you are hearding about is all the Ding-dongs that are taking it and ending up in the E.R. and being put in the Hosiptal over eating to much of this, The Doctor I use was telling me and Hubby that some of the Covid cases that are being put in the Hospital is because of over doseing on the livestock invermectin.
The Human form is ok since its for humans but the livestock form, hummm no thank you
I guess I'm just a wuss
I have always used the oral horse Ivermectin.
We dairyed our whole life so you were always in close contact with cows.
If you have cats and dogs you are exposed to worms daily from them.
If you think Ivermectin will kill you.
How come we don't have a bunch of dead cowmen that get contaminated using Ivermectin pour on .
Veterinary school drop outs usually go on to be medical doctors.

Yep, every time we work cattle and use the pour on I dose myself several times over. Worse thing I ever got was a headache, but I get those a lot when it's a 100 degrees and I wear a hat/cap.

These were old guys in the Freer and Cotulla Pleasanton area. But my husband said a bunch of the guys who work at the plant he works at go to the co op and get the liquid ivermectin and put a dose in their orange juice. It didn't keep them from getting it, but they only have very mild symptoms when they did get it.
Well of course we are exposed to worms and what nots from our pets and Livestock, but I'm sure not going to self medicate with any product thats made for an amimal, if I feel I need to deworm my self are any one else in my family I'll go to my Doctor for that, lol.
Here a cheaper dewormer for cats and Dogs if you feel like your wormy, its Pyrantel Pamoate (Suspension) its a great dewormer for Dogs and cats, smells good too, but I use it for my cats and dogs, not humans.
I have had Ivermectin squirted in my mouth by accident had the pour on get all over me by accident while deworming roping steers and other cattle, didnt die from it but I sure would not do this on purpose, was really nasty and took awhile to get the taste out of my mouth, even when the pour on got on my skin left a weird taste in my mouth.
When my father in law would deworm his dairy heifer's/cattle he would not let me handle the dewormer he would have the Vet come out and do all the Vaccines and deworming that were needed at the time. We lived on a big Dairy in Edinburg Texas, so I know all about being exposed to worms, lol.. But the cattle were pretty clean since they were being handled all the time.
Ivermectin is sold over the counter for human use for malaria and dinghi fever. I lived in Nigeria in the early 1970's and we took a malaria drug every day as a preventative. It was not ivermectin so I guess it had not come out yet. Also, it is approved by the FDA and the doctor who developed it won the Nobel prize for medicine. The reason that you can't buy it over the counter here is $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ for the pharmaceutical companies.
I know several SEVERAL people that are using either the paste, pour on or injectable ivermectin for preventing covid after they've been knowingly exposed or have started feeling sick. Within 24 hours they feel much better. They swear by it. I have the injectable on hand as well as the pour on. The paste is tough to get right now at the feed stores. At this point in time, I'd feel more comfortable taking any form ivermectin over being treated in the hospital if I become sick. The huge push on this vax is fishy. It's downright terrible actually. My husband got the memo from his employer. Get vax'd by September 28th or you will face weekly testing at your own expense. His nephew who works for same company.... just got his first shot a few weeks ago... he's down right now, very sick, unable to work .... with COVID.
