Location: Dubach, LA | FUN! I'll play! Let's see... I would buy a gelding by Slick By Design out of Rafter W Minnie.
Can I go back in time? If so, I'd like a gelding by Firewater Flit out of a local mare. Her owner/rider was Lynne McKenzie from Louisiana. Her barn name was Marie. I have no idea how she was bred but that mare took names and kicked butts for YEARS. Healthy and solid. |

Location: Illinois | I'm a big Leaving Memories fan and Lanes Leinster fan. Wouldn't mind a daughter by either, out of a daughter of Alive N Firen. That would've been one of my dreams, but clearly not realistic now. If I had to choose whats available now, I have always like The Goodbye Lane, even given his god awful ugliness when he's not photoshopped, and cross on a daughter of Alive N Firen then. I just like the way his babies run and turn. The cross I'm dying to make someday I want to keep secret, I don't think anyone has tried it yet

No. No secrets allowed! You've got to at least give us a hint. Like maybe the dam of the stud and the sire of the dam. Give me something to do today. (And GL would be my second choice.) |

I'll keep it half secret lol....There's a cowbred stud I've loved for years, I've seen some babies by him I really like that were bred when he was still basically a nobody in the breeding world. I would like to breed my mare to him, she's Bully Bullion/MSM/AliveNFiren. And then I'm hoping for a filly that I can then someday cross on the goodbye lane. Also kinda interested in the notorious big babies right now, see what they do. He's similar in structure to the other one I like. She's sorrel and I don't really want another sorrel and I don't like roans, if that narrows it down for you to figure out lol. My mare is 16.2 and long backed with kissing spine, so she's pretty much not able to be crossed on anything in the barrel world right now due to it being genetic. So my vet and I have a few shorter backed studs in mind that could be crossed and if that baby maintians a nice back & no kissing spine, then potentially could cross it on a barrel stud & see. Maybe in a few years I'll have something different to breed though, who knows. I don't want to breed to sell and I know how to handle a KS now if the next one does arise & then I'd not breed that line anymore & move on. I have other race bred lines in mind for a mare to breed to this stud if needed. Mine doesn't really have anything close on her papers with a recorded SI of under 99 except FWF who was slow but still a hell of a producer. So I want something similar speed wise for this cross in mind After having a horse with KS and also catching stifles, I'm suuuuper particular on what I want now & it's completely changed from what it once was before having her. A lot of the big name studs have really weak backs and the racier ones lack a stronger stifle, so it's very hard. I've become so picky in determining what kinds of crosses I want based on the body structures they tend to be, then how they move/run, and wether or not I think I can maintian the downfalls of the structure combos |

| I was faced with a chunk of change after my mom died. After trying to find something responsible to use the money on and that not working out for a year, I found the most beautiful daughter of DTF to add to my crew! Not only is she fancy broke (very fun to just ride!), she also has a killer pattern (if you can get her past the barrel), and will be a valuable addition to the broodmare herd (of one) in a couple more years. |

| I had a couple of daughters if Leaving Memories. One was 24 and we bred her to Sir Seth ( SI 113 and ran out $299,600+). We had decided before she foaled that when we weaned the baby we would put her down. We got a gorgeous colt out of her. Already had four or five babies out of her. Two are world champions in three different registries. The other mare died suddenly and left a week old filly by Guys Easy Jet. She is two now and ready to go to the colt starter. One of her other foals is now a broodmare. She has a baby on her side by Bogart (Corona Cartej/daughter of Mr Jess Perry and ran out $110,000+ on the track) who was number one second year sire of track horses in the US. That changes every week. I have Leaving Memories grand babies all over the place!!! Hopefully, I'm on the cutting edge breeding to Bogart. |

We've had 3 studs that's come from Mary Crago's program. I'd buy another in a heart beat |
