Paul Taylors is near High point. Go check them out!

If you will be in Fort Worth, go visit the stockyards.

Teskeys is in Weatherford.

I love Teskeys!  I also love NRS in Decatur.  Teskeys is better for horse stuff but I like NRS better for clothes and boots.

We got to Fort Worth a lot, both for weekend vacations and for ropings.  Riscky's Steakhouse is my favorite, but you can't go wrong with H3 either.  Cattleman's is also good.  It would be amazing lots of other places but is #3 there.  It's not like the one in OKC.

If you are a John Wayne fan the John Wayne museum is a MUST see.

The White Elephant is a really cool bar.  They used to film the scenes from CD's Bar and Grill there from "Walker, Texas Ranger".  The Cowboy Channel Bar is a cool place to stop in for a drink or a visit too.  We usually don't hang out there long though.

Our favorite night place is the Longhorn.  They always have a band that plays old country.  If you like newer stuff it's not the place for you.  Most of the crowd is older.  I'm 41 and am a youngster there.  There are a ton of places for the younger crowd.

Billy Bob's is cool to see during the day.  I don't care for it at all as a nightclub.  Too touristy and drinks are expensive.

If you like "newer" stuff Mule Alley seems to be popular with the younger crowd.  There is a brand store for Kimes, Wrangler, Ariat, etc.

You can spend a day just walking around the stockyards.  It's such a cool place.

I almost forgot--The Best Hat Store!  I'm ashamed to admit how many hats I've purchased from there (both straw and felt).  Purchase there once and you will be a lifetime customer.

You need to go to the Stockyards and see Cowtown and the John Wayne museum
