he friended me and wrote a message saying that he worked with a cinema and that he had worked on several horse movies (secretariat, horse whisperer, etc.) and he liked my profile pic and wanted to know if i would be interested in being in a movie. saying that he needed a strong horse with a strong attitude....wanting to know how big my horse was. i reported him and blocked him. i googled his name and nothing showed up in credits for movies and tried to look up his contact info and said that he didn't exist. |

I will tell you I used to browse a dating website (westernmatch.com) and there was a guy on there who would come into the chat room (I made alot of rodeo/girl friends thru the site and would go chat with them) and send private messages to girls asking them if they wanted to be in this movie, how big of a horse they had, color, send pics, yada yada.. Infact if you go on their website they have a warning about him and to report him to them. He would just keep changing user names over and over, but always gave himself away by the whole movie thing..I dont know if its the same guy, but sure sounds like it... yuck... |

Location: Greenville Texas | I deleted just about all my personal info from FB. Believe it or not I had a stalker for about 30 years. A guy I dated a VERY LONG time ago...for a short while. A short while because the more I got to know him the weirder I realized he was.....and DUH....30 years later he was STILL weird and creepy and finding me on the internet. I had to cancel my classmates.com membership and change e-mails and all sorts of things...(plus got a CHL and a pistol )....
I DO have a FB account but I try hard to be careful who I accept as a friend. Most men or people who seem to have fake names I stay away from.....and anyone I don't actually KNOW that send me messages.....I usually am wary of and may block.
Being paranoid is a good thing these days. |

Location: Kansas | There is a Robbie Mark Johnson that is weird. Calls on horses and says hes buying. He is on facebook too. Says he is a stunt man and he is a stunt man he pulls stunts on people so watch out for him also. He recently told a friend of mine he was buying horses for her to run and a trailer and a place in Oklahoma. It was all a big prank. He had actually called me wiring money years ago on another horse and I did alot of checking and he has done this to many people out there. Some people just have problems and they have to much time on their hands. Everyone needs to be aware of the dangers of people like this too. |

I met a guy online on ES and he said he was a horse trainer and had dvds out and stuff. and he does.. or did .. cant tell if it was many moons ago or current. didnt impress me anyway.. i talked One time to him on phone and said i wasnt interested he lived far away .
anyway.. he kept stalking me. it was creepy.
emailing me long letters saying how bad a person i was for just going on the internet and playing in cyber world and when was I gonna wake up and have a real life and all that stuff. I would go to a show and come back to several emails saying that and It started to concern me. this went on for 5 yrs and it slowly slowed down .. then one day a florist arrived and I had moved to another town..
i said whos this from and he said I dunno mam. so i took them inside and in the flowers was a 2 page letter handwritten from this guy and well it went on and on and i was flipped out about then wondering how he found me and if this letter was in there he must be in my town right?
and he lived in california so it wasnt just a drive there.
I called the florist freaking out and asked her if the guy brought the letter in and she said No he called and ordered the flowers then mailed the letter to the florist and told me to put them with flowers.I was in tears I was scared by then and I told her to NOT give out my address
but i guess he must have known it anyway..
I dont go to those places anymore even though i had friends on there years ago..
last time i heard from him on email he asked me to call him and i refused and he went off on me. bad things. i was thinking to myself I dont even know you !!! nor met you!!! and talked ONE time..

| All I can tell you young people is to use an alias and do not put your personal information on FB or any other type of internet board.. if you want to correspond with someone.. use your email or phone. I wish both of these were encrypted like the blackberry so they can't be saved and deciphered in the future.

I had one that kept messaging me saying he was a movie guy, looking for a girl with a horse that would rear up and come down on someone, that he was a stunt guy etc....gave me the creeps and he finally just stopped messaging me...kept asking if my horse would run over someone etc? crazy! |

You better hope it's a white collar minimum security crime other wise you won't go to the "Nice" prison. Federal prisons are tough!! I work with inmates from Federal prisons every day! In fact if they come from a select few Federal prisons you know they are trouble before they get there.

my ex was in federal prison for along long time and first it was High security in Miami and let me tell ya.. it was dangerous and hard it wasnt all fluff as people think. tough people and dangerous people.. murderers, drug cartel, mafia etc..most have Nothing to lose so dont worry if they kill someone off.. He deserved it of course. then he went to meduim which was not to much better.. in northcarolina.
Then he went to low in Maxwell AFB and that was the Vacation., movie house, weights all day,,, but they worked all day... but yes it was easier .he was a very strong man and dangerous him self so he could take care of hisself BUT the ones that were weak.. well lets just say.. they didnt fair as well.
and it isnt all free for them believe me..state prison might be free to them but federal isnt .I have a bank acct to prove that.yes Im stupid. but he was my sons father .. lesson learned of course. once a con always a con..
someone has to support them while they are in there. to buy soap, shampoo, food etc..
yep its true.
meals are free but not what most think.. everything is re processed rehanded out..soap, shampoo etc. when a inmate leaves they keep his stuff like that and give it to other inmates. hand me downs.
when he got to halfway house it was so hard he wanted to go back to low security to finish his sentence. he said he could sleep in all day and lift weights all day there instead of look for work.
hes a loser what can I say

I've got the guy, Barry Wegners asking me the same thing...needs a big bay and a girl about my size that will run over someone to make a movie about a bounty hunter/barrel racer that hunts down criminals to support her hobby...she gets after a pedophile and ends up running him down in the alley way.
I have nothing to do but play on the puter at this time so I play it out and he sends me this "release" they would use.
Says I'd be one of 12 they've got signed up to interview/test so far...pays $200.00 per minute for the testing and $20,000.00 for the shoot if they use me and my horse as the stand in..
Mmmm...I've not given any info out and don't plan to since I can't even ride yet due to injury, lol...
He says he's a scout...same as above really.. seen the same pix I use for my profile and it sparked their interest. I just keep asking questions and playing along...yes, I'm bored and have nothing more to entertain me...sad isn't it?
This could be fun...any suggestions??

Location: Work hard and Play hard | He got a hold of me to and said if I would kill this stunt man I would get $30,000.00 from a life insurance policy the stunt man is an illegal mexican and has no family and I said who would clean up the body he was stupid enough to say an ambulance would then he wanted it to happen at my house in my indoor arena I am thinking you are nuts he said he would be down to watch it all then I thought about setting it all up and having the law there hideing and watch what he wanted me to do and see if they could do anything to him for wanting this guy murdered. He then told me that he was the senior scout and I was already probably going to get the job he really liked me and he had the say and that there would be more movies after this. Does he think us barrel racers are stupid or what? |

This guy is way weird. Do not respond to his friend request. He was on this site a few years back calling a few women who had horses for sale on here. I was one of them.
He called me 3 times until I finally got him to stop. Said he wanted to use me and my horse in a movie. I strung him along long enough to get enough info to give to a PI friend of mine. Dave called him and shut him down from contacting advertisers on this sight. Guess he has now resurfaced on FB. |

Barry Wagner was located in Illinois. He was owner of a car dealership there. Had a wife and kids, was middle aged.
The stories that I am reading here are the same ones he told 5 years ago. Weird that he has resurfaced. I wonder if he has been doing this all along? I know there was a thread on here a while back about the same thing.
This guy is really weird. I wanted to go to his place of business and confront him. Now I wish I had.

Yeah, my husband didn't want me to. I wanted to take the three women I had talked to that he was contacting at the same time, and go confront him at his office. I would have taken a police escort with me. You can hire off duty officers for security.
Could you imagine his face? Sometimes people like this need a taste of their own medicine. I was pretty intimidated until I found his identity. My PI found it though phone records. |

He said not to tell anybody because he get's flooded with "wanna bes" bothering him all the time.
He sent me some pictures he probably robbed of some sites...he say's this is he and his dog..

Location: relocated to Texas | Can't see the photo. I never saw him anyway, just had information on him. I do remember he had kind of a deep voice and he was professional in the way he spoke. He had an answer for every question too, never seemed to get tripped up. Even when I told him that I could find him nowhere as being affiliated with the companies he told me he represented. He made up an answer for that too, and never broke stride. He is probably a good salesman. |

| Good Morning: I received a strange message via Facebook this morning - It was Barry Wegners asking me about my horse - does it have a big motor and would I like to be in a movie... and so before responding - I googled him - and low and behold I find this thread (THANK YOU!! THANK YOU!! THANK YOU!!) - so I will not respond to him and in fact, will forward the message onto my brother (who is a police officer) and see if he can track him down.
Just wanted to let you all know - he's back out there looking for girls.. again... and his profile picture on FB is now two kitties... very cute.... but not so much if you know what I mean!

I got a message from that movie guy. I replied "Is this for real? If so, prove it" Never heard back. I told my husband, why would they want my horse to make a movie of when I know she's awesome and all, but there are horses like Hotshot, Stingray, Scamper that movies have not been made about. Scam.
....oh and not to mention big time movie producers don't find their people (or horses) via Facebook...

When he was stalking on BHW we turned him into the FBI and police. They did nothing. So BE AWARE!!
We remembered his name, and searched through the history of our threads. This thread was posted back in 2011.
