Location: California | Hi Everyone ! I have been going non stop with rescue related stuff lately but I wanted to pop in and update everyone on miss London.
Originally she had a brachial plexus injury diagnosis and required the amputation of her left front leg . That was possible only from the generous help from the members on this board. Surgery went well until a few days later and then she started to loose 80% mobility in ALL her limbs. At that point we exhausted our resources with UC Davis speciailists and a neurologist with NO confirmed diagnoses. I had hit a dead end and was out of options. The only thing we know is it is something neurological , not sure what as we have exhausted all tests including and MRI that showed nothing.
Then I got in touch with a fellow barrel racer locally and therapist Molly Wells who provides acuscope therapy so I decided to give it a try as everything to that point was not working. We did 5 sessions with Molly & switched her to a full raw diet and she is now 90% back to full mobility. We went from not being able to walk or lift her head at all , to jumping on the bed / sofa and running up the stairs again this week. She is still exhausted by the evening but she is a trooper and I think with conditioning she is going to gain more strength.
We are taking everything one day at a time now , I don't know what this is , I don't know what the future holds but I am remaining optimistic and enjoying every day with her. We value the good days and push through the bad.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the help you have given me with my little angel.
We love you all

| Good to hear she is ok! Prayers for a full recovery for her. She has one of those faces that if you came home to a tore up house, and she just tilted her head with that look, she'd be in no trouble!! To cute :) |

| This makes me VERY happy! I too thought that she had been put down, that was the last I had read and I didn't have the heart to check back in.
Prayers that you are able to figure our what is going on with her and are able to manage it.
Bless you for not giving up! |

Glad the raw diet has also worked as that's what my doggies eat, too. I also found out one of my dogs was having seizures from Heartgard! I don't give it every month but every few months and none in the winter but within days of her having it-BAM she would have a seizure. VERY SCARY! Best of luck to you and London. |

Location: Texas | I'm not sure how they're doing, she dissapeared from fb and instagram and her website/ rescue pages are gone. I miss seeing all her dogs and their antics. I'm sure she/ they are doing good, I know some here are good friends with Erin, maybe they can update. |

Location: California | Thanks everyone for the concern. London is doing great since her acuscope/myoscope treatment with Molly Wells. It made a world of difference along with lots of slow conditioning and playtime with her brothers and sisters. She is running fullspeed again and aside from a change in her gait , she is as fully able bodied as before her amputation.
I deleted my facebook a couple of months ago. Not worth the headache or the misinterpretations. Vader , London and Maggie are also in a calendar for 2014 for Bully Fans which was kind of fun.
As far as my other rescues that those of you followed : Maggie is doing wonderful and has an adopter who will be bringing her into her home this December.
Brayden is doing phenominal as well and has found his forever home with my rescue friends / foster home who have decided to keep him.
Vader is doing great and has been coming a long way with his obediance and manners in public.
I do have Instagram still where I update pics of the dogs daily , the name changed to "thequeenofpaws" .
Hope all is well with everyone, I'll try and get on here more often.
