I am so proud of my girly! She started off fat, stubborn, she had bad turns and always broke stride. But now she has great turns and rarely breaks stride, she is in shape and does what ever I ask her. She won me a first place, two second places and a third place at the fair. I am so so proud of her. Here are some pictures of me and her during competition at the fair.

Its a fantastic feeling isn't it? My mare used to buck every time I tried to barrel race, wouldn't pick up/change leads etc Now she's running perfectly :) It's such a load off your mind to know you can just jump on and do what you love without all the battles! Persistence always pays off

It sure is!!!! But now I don't have her anymore because my dad took her away from me. He wants to sell her and I'm trying to get her back. In my case I guess all the work I did didn't really pay off in the long run. Except for how good I did at the fair.
