Don't Wanna Make This Awkward

I figured it will be easier to just have its own thread! So post stuff that you need/want, and a little about you!!
I think I would really like something for my horse, maybe a PHT halter or some bot stuff, if they have anything under $50, please do not buy me something if you are uncomfortable paying the price, If you want to make me something or give me something you already have, used or not that is fine. I am 18 and like typical girly teenager stuff. If you want to get me a gift card I shop at TSC alot or for clothes pacsun, forever 21, target, places like that. Im really not too picky. I would really prefer something for my horse though, maybe a gift certificate for tack, or splint boots(white/black) sz med, sz lg bell boots(have to be no turn).
So everyone please post something so everyone can atleast have an idea for something :)
Also please include the following:
Horses Name(s): Other pets names, breed and collar size: Favorite color: Favorite print(ex.Zebra): Favorite scent: Clothing size(optional): Favorite candy: Do you collect anything?: Any food allergies?: Other random helpful things we should know: Dislikes:
***please post a favorite picture or two of your horse or other pets.

I'll post here... I'm 31 with an almost 6 year old daughter and I'm a newly wed. Black and turquoise are our barn colors. I like to cook, drink wine or margaritas, anything mexican food. I have a beagle/lab mix puppy and an austrailan shepherd. We have one horse (the buckskin stallion in my avatar). We just moved to the OKC area. I'm not overly picky... I would blingy tack/conchos as mine is all non blinged... My stallion loves carrots and cookies. My daughter wants to start riding more and I'm gonna lose the horse to her one of these days. Horse name: Duncan Dogs: Cinch 20" collar (Aussie) Cheyenne 14" collar (mutt) Daughter: Devyn I wear xl in sweatshirts (like them a little big) Love turquoise and black and zebra print

Women!!! Thats all I have to say.
HAHA... my husband says the same thing... The way I look at it is Black and Turquoise are universal colors that look good on any color of horse, so I tell my husband it means I don't have to buy as much... I have one tack set... bought it in 2009... and it's black stingray with no bling so the hubby can use it... So... yes... black and turquoise it is!

I posted on the other thread already - but figured I'd add it to this thread too:
I'm new to the exchange, so anything would be awesome, but here are some ideas
I'm 26, racing one older gelding named Kawea and bringing along a younger mare who will start futurities in December whose name is Blitz. Kawea's color is turquoise and Blitz's is lime green. I also have a retired gelding named Tucker, who is the one in orange. I have a 2 year old yellow lab named Tiffany who is a midget (only 40 lbs) and a 7 year old blue heeler named Jordan (also right around 40 lbs) who are the 2 dogs near the top of the dog picture. Things I need/want/like: PHT anything, Saddle crosses (blingy), leather split reins, german martingale, no turn bell boots (Large), sore no more anything, mohair cinches (size 32-34), horse treats (my horses especially love "nicker makers" brand), love scensys (favorite scents are "fall" type scents - pumpkin/cinnamon/vanilla/spices/etc), western décor for new house being built, hoodies - especially ones that have to do with barrel racing (womens size med), starbucks hot chocolate, and I LOVE my Oregon State Beavers! Love most candy - especially chocolate. Just found pumpkin spice M&M's and love them!!
I'm pretty easy to please - no real dislikes... Not a huge fan of pink or animal prints but not opposed to them if used tastefully.

I will post! I am excited, I just found out my Christmas exchange buddy today, so I hope she posts here!
I am 33, I have a 5 year old daughter, a husband and 3 horses. I love anything horsey. Grooming stuff is good. I do need a new hay bag, my dog kinda chewed a piece off and I still use it. LOL A hay bag would be nice... I love anything pink and anything camo, or pink AND camo! I love to cook, and I love wine. I love stuff that smells good, candles, shower gels, etc. I love bling and blingy jewelry. I am a Christian and I wear size small. I have a cross wall at home, so a pretty cross where I can always remember my santa exchange buddy would be neat. Cute tops are always nice too.

I'm 26 years old and I recently graduated from Cosmetology school. I just got engaged and my fiancee and I are in the process of buying an older farmhouse on 60+ acres.. I have a blue merle border collie and just one horse currently, a black QH gelding. They are my whole world. My favorite color is turquoise and I LOVE bling. I love anything westerny, especially stuff that is tooled or looks like it is tooled leather. I don't like knick-knacks (dust collectors) unless it's something westerny. I love photography, cooking and traveling. I love anything Texas-ish and I LOVE longhorns. Ranch Royalty/Sissie and Me is one of my favorite places to shop. I love that style. I really dig those new western headbands that are in style and big earrings. (Silver jewelry, no gold)
Please don't buy me clothes because I'm awkwardly tall and hard to fit.

Ok, I don't really like talking about myself and i'm not real good at it either but... for the sake of whoever ended up with me....
I like anything horse related, I usually stick with black, no yellow(it's bad luck). I hunt, no fishing, hike, run, and rodeo regularly. I don't necessarily need anything but enjoy everything. I'm a wino(have you ever looked up the definition of wino-funny) so anything wine related I'm happy, like candles - lavender, leather, berries, nothing sweet. All about anything that can make me laugh (i'm very hard to offend so don't worry about that). I like about anything that doesn't involve spiders, snakes, or fanny packs!

Our kids are also involved in basketball, volleyball, baseball, and badminton. I work full time and we farm and ranch. We are very busy but love being involved with our kids. We have a "almost" 3lb yorkie that is 5. I love to shop!! Fashion Jewlery, clothes, shoes you name it. LOL I love anything with crosses and love barn wood home decor. I love western anything. My favorite colors are brown and turquoise.

I'm 26. Married with 2 little ones, 4 & 11 months. My favorite colors are purple & turquoise. I collect grooming stuff like crazy! Seems like every time I see a brush I HAVE to have it. I wish PHT or BOT had things under $50. LOL.
I love cadet style hats, earrings, and bling. I wear an XL in unisex tshirts. (Don't really wear the fitted style shirts much anymore...lol)
I'm not very picky. Just as long as I don't get anything neon pink or covered in glitter I'll be happy. LOL Rhinestones are fine though! Useful things are GREAT for me! And I love nylon tack. You can never have enough one ear headstalls or breastcollars. :)

Hey I'm new to the exchange this year. I'm 28 married with two preschoolers. My two main boys are Victor and Jazz. Jazz( dark palomino with white mane and tail. He looks like trigger) is the one I'm gearing up to run. I have a Dobie/lab named Boss who is my other child. Lol. I love bling. And ANYTHING to do with tack. I have a small ( ok large) bit addiction. Used tack bits pads etc are fantastic. Our barn colors are blue and black. But I love turquoise and silver. Saddle crosses, wine, jewelry bronc nose bands. etc. I'm not picky and will be excited about anything.

I'm 21, I love wine and coffee. I have two horses and could really use a nice set of split reins. I also have two Aussies that are like my children (jax and Oakley). I'm really wanting to start reining, but I know little about it and I can't afford a trainer or lessons, so I've been researching books and dvd's.
I'm not like most 21 year olds, lol, I own a house and a landscaping business and all my friends are like... 40 :) I don't do much bling and I'm super hard to buy clothes for because I'm a midget and have like a 6 inch abdomen. Lol
Please don't feel like you need to spend much on me :) I'm just excited to have a gift somebody put a little thought into... All my family does is cash and gift cards so I'm not used to actually having something to unwrap!
Wanted to add, my first year doing the gift exchange I was 15, and all I wanted to do was high school rodeo, but my parents were unsupportive to say the least. My partner gave me the pair of reins my mom refused to buy for me and a book on college rodeo. It was the most meaningful gift I've ever received, and I still use those reins :) I wish I could remember who my partner was, i didn't appreciate at the time how thoughtful that woman was. And I just got all emotional, I love you guys :)

Okay, I'm 21, I like about every color EXCEPT for purple. I love my horse, Pebbles, and my Boston Terrier dog, who loves dog bones. I'm not into the whole "bling" thing, but wouldn't mind it. I love orange and lime/bright green but not necessarily together. Would love a set of lime green polo wraps or overreach boots (size medium), and am honestly not picky about whatever I get. Oh, and I like cute coffee mugs/cups!

I'm 30 with 3 horses and a mini Aussie. My favorite things to buy are hand lotion, chapstick, bell boots, FLAIR strips, horse treats, fleece to make polo wraps, entry fees, coffee and gasoline (as much as I buy, it belongs on my favorites list). Tuffy (dog) and I put about 25K miles on our rig this summer rodeoing and hitting jackpots when time allowed so we are big time travelers. I apparently also like bareback riders, sports, big crazy earrings, fuzzy sweatpants and buying new hay bags because I am constantly losing them. My horses are Chance, Clifford and Joker.
And a picture of me in my natural environment......

I am Cheryl Makofka as my name says.
I posted on the previous thread, I enjoy learning about small rural communities, so I think it would be neat to get something that describes your community. I also like neat fish hooks.
If you (whoever you are) don't want to do that, I have too many horses, too much tack (I have started to purge), I don't read much as I have no time, lol.
Besides horses, I enjoy fishing lake and river, the other half is still refusing to teach me how to fly fish (because I always catch more fish then him, lol). I also see ocean fishing in my future (SO says he is buying an ocean boat)
I have no idea on how to post pictures, so if someone would love to pm me and give me instructions off of an iPad, I will be indebted to you.
Edited to add
I don't have a favorite color, but dislike red
The colors of my horses are blue roan, sorrel, buckskin, black, brown
Horses names are wheels, Sam, shorty, twistin, mouse, cruella, hemi, sassy, sweetness.
Dogs a bull mastiff, and Peakanise ****zu cross
I work as a nurse
I don't wear much jewelry, live a fairly simple life, mostly outdoors when the weather Is not 40 below, I snow shoe in the winter out to check on horses.
Besides horses only hobby I have is fishing, I don't hunt.

I am married with a 5yo son. We have 17 horses and have just had a major reduction so this is the smallest number we have had for about 10 years. Any tack would be appreciated but not expected, medium (cob) would fit most of my horses. I use rope halters exclusively not webbing.
I LOVE pink. I LOVE pink, zebra print and bling. I love bling in any colour actually. I am not fussed on cross designs, anything else western I adore.
I have just discovered patterned duct tape through BHW and am mesmorised by it and am so jealous that we don't have it here. lol
As I said on the other post, I love Christmas, it is my favourite time of year so am very excited about having a change to be part of the Christmas Exchange.

Maybe some western horsesy Christmas stuff? Stocking holders? I'm a runner (my brother is forcing me to run my first marathon with him in Feb). I enjoy dark coffee. I'm married, no kids, unless you count my lab and rat terrier. I also hunt coyotes with hounds. I hunt other stuff too. I Love the color purple. Love bling but I think I'm pretty well stocked in that department. Only horse thing I'm craving is PHT bell boots, but absolutely think they're too expensive for this exchange!
I like cross jewelry in turquoise, purple, or neutral like black and silver. I do have pierced ears.
Going out on a limb and would like the Shades of Grey series because I've never read it. I do have an iPhone and iPad and will read on those if desperate, so iTunes card would be good filler.

I am going to be 54 right before christmas, the 18th, have been married 37 yrs. Have 3 grown sons and now 5 grandchildren. Have at present 5 horses but could change by end of month if my mare sells. Am not really into bling all that much. LOVE pink and wear ALOT of it, like ball caps, adjustable ones as have a smaller head. 3x tee shirts. Love to do jigsaw puzzles, especially of the harder ones, like a forest of fall colors or a field of flowers, snow scenes, 500 + pieces! Love the Kincade ones also. ANYTHING horse related movies romance, midevil or western books. Also like the painted ponies have almost all the appaloosa ones, my breed of choice. Not sure what I am doing wrong but cant get the picture of my mare and me to show up she is the one in my avatar though

I LOVE Christmas, and I love giving gifts! I'm so excited for this year!
ETA: My boyfriend of about 2 years is in the Navy, and he is my absolute best friend/ and I like long sleeve shirts and hoodies. I would wear an XL. I am currently trying to make a lifestyle change and eat HEALTHY and CLEAN and exercise! So anything health related or motivational would be awesome! Oh, and my favorite scents are clean laundry and something like cool breeze, or island breeze or anything outdoorsy.

I've had a hard time getting a horse "there". I've 'trained' 4 horses for barrels, but only currently ride one out of the 4. Two got cancer (they have new owners who are trail riding them until they need euthanized). The other horse is my mothers gelding, but he is 17 so I rarely ride him. I do go to a local trainer (whom I love) and like to learn. I appreciate any books or DVDs. I do own Charmayne James and Sharon Camarillo books. I also have a Clinton Anderson/Sherry Cervi DVD . BTW I love Sherry Cervi and am obsessed with her new line of shirts. I am in college to become a Physical therapist assistant. Go Penn state( yes, I know we lost our last football game miserably lol. I still wear their attire)!
I love music (check my Facebook for most of my favorites) ! A few are Scotty Mccreery, Luke Bryan, Kenny Chesney, Miranda Lambert, Gary Allen, George Jones, Darius Rucker, the black keys, Kings of Leon, Hootie and the blowfish, red hot chili peppers. Mabey you don't need to go to Facebook. I think I listed most of them lol.
I originally posted on a previous thread. My post is approximately on Pg. 8 http://forums.barrelhorseworld.com/forum/forums/thread-view.asp?tid...

I posted on the other thread but here's a little more...
I'd love a pair of new (new-to-me is more than fine too!!) barrel racing reins, fun no-turn bell boots (size M), bronc noseband for rope halter, or anything for a 15.2 hands bay QH mare (Melody) or 14.3 hands palomino QH gelding (Grimmie). I like fun stuff and colors (not so much green), blingy is cool, but not so much animal prints. Western bling jewelry is fun too, handmade leather stuff. I do have pierced ears but don't often change my earrings, and am not on Facebook. We have 5 dogs, but generally only our black mini Aussie, Tally, helps out on the farm. I'm a Christian, and I love motivational frame able posters with quotes or verses too.
My husband and family are not horse minded and I can't often justify horse stuff, so I'd love to get some fun horse or western stuff! I love anything fun, and/or handmade, and are not picky :).
Oh yes, and I'm 32 years old, married, and have 3 kids (with 1 more on the way in the spring). :)

Some BBs have not posted on the other thread about what they like and/or dislike so this thread is going to have specific questions to help us learn more about each other and for that one particular BB who is shopping for you it will help them greatly.

***please post a favorite picture or two of your horse or other pets.
My horse's name is King. He is a sorrel, very red. (Haven't figured out how to size pictures but I'll work on it lol)
I have three dogs: Whoopie (large Airdale mix), Lucy (medium heeler/border collie cross) and Henry (small poodle/terrier).
My favorite color on my horse is royal blue; personally I like turquoise, purple and green.
My favorite print is leopard. I have a bridle/breastcollar set that is leopard with bronze conches.
Favorite scent is anything warm and woodsy, sweet grass.
Clothing size: 10 / medium
Favorite candy.... chocolate, toffee, caramel.
I collect inspiring Bible verses, and snow globes.
No allergies....
I love God, my husband, and my three daughters. I am a work in progress when it comes to barrel racing and would adore any helpful videos or books (I do own the book by Charmayne) I also love country music, fur collars, cross conchos, candles and lotion.
My ultimate gift would be a custom wither strap.... stamped with "LOOK UP and BREATHE" and a cross concho or two. I would be in heaven with that.
But truly I will be pleased as punch to get any old thing. Looking forward to spoiling my own secret pal!!!

We have lots of critters, some chickens, a black Lab (Lance) a red Border Collie (Red) and a Siamese kitty (Madison). Lots of barn cats too. We raise a few horses and some cattle. My husband trucks, hauling cattle and hay so I stay home with the boys and hold down the fort. I love to barrel race, but have had really bad luck lately so started to show some too. I have a 2yr old hunter/jumper that has been a blast to train myself. I named him Audie Murphy (Audie) after WWII's most decorated soldier. I love to read up on history of WWI and WWII as I had a lot of family involved in both.
I'm pretty easy to please with the gift exchange. I love pretty much anything purple. Poor Audie looks like a walking purple people eater. I have met 3 great people through the gift exchange in the past, here is a shout out to Abby, Jessica & Ashley

Copied, pasted, and edited a little from the first thread.
I'm not married, I live with my twin sister, no kids.
We have two dogs, Boo a mini aussie/corgi cross and Charlie a mini doxie.
In my job I do not work with the public so the dress code is pretty casual. I can wear jeans and t-shirts/sweatshirts most of the time. I live in fleece/puffy/ or knit vests or dressier sweatshirts/hoodies in the winter. I'm slowly learning to like scarves to dress up an outfit. I can always use more vests or hooodies or printed sweatshirts.
I have two horses. I was happy to be down to one horse but last week I had the opportunity to purchase a reining hors, and so I did. He is everyone's favorite color here (that is supposed to be sarcasm) - he is cremello, his registered name is Dunit In Creme. My mare is Playgirl With Cash. They are both 7.
I have nothing for my new gelding yet since I haven't had him a week yet, his tack color is going to be dark orange/copper. He will need a halter and lead in dark orange or copper (plain nylon, not into bronc halters or beading), eventually a sheet and sleazy, and tons of show sheen to keep him clean in the show pen.
I like baby pink and dark pink (no hot pink) and dark orange and all shades of blue.
I wear wear an XL on top and generally a medium bottom but like large flannel pj bottoms to lounge in. I'm not into turquoise jewelry or crosses but am into blingy rhinestones and have a few concho necklaces.
I LOVE chocolate, especially dark chocolate, chcolate is my favorite food group. I also love coffee (Seattles Best, Starbucks!) I also like sweet wines (no dark red dry stuff) and Pinnacle flavored vodkas. The Double Espresso vodka is super in hot coca in the winter.
Cinnamon is one of my favorite scents and flavors.
I'm allergic to most fragrances unless they are natural. Natural cinnamon and lemon are two of my favorites. The chemicals used in candles, plug in scented warmers, scentsy type stuff etc. make my eyes water and red and makes me all stuffed up. I buy most of my scented bath stuff from The Body Shop since it is all natural.
I'm going on a Carnival Carribean cruise in January, my first warm weather cruise after Alaska and the west coast. My favorite vacation place is Las Vegas.
I've been socking away $20 per paycheck for over a year to buy Carnival Cruise Cash to have money saved to buy things on the cruise.

A little about me - I'm your every day country girl. I am 23 years old, have a boyfriend of 6 years, yellow lab (Zoe), and love my horses of course! I work from home online 50 hours or so a week, and spend as much time outside in my spare time as I possibly can. I like your typical cowgirl purses and wallets. Although I don't know what they cost, I would LOVE a hand tooled/bling halter. I could always use a nice over/under or new quirt and I never have enough of the small things it seems - brushes, hoof picks, sponges, etc. Also!! This is a dumb request, but snow is about to fly here so the disposable toe warmers for my boots are nice to have around too! I love country western home decor.
My favorite colors are turquoise and brown together, purple, and red. My shirt size is Medium and I love hooded sweatshirts.
Other than outside/horse stuff I love scentsy, yankee candles, anything for baking or cooking, bath and body (or any bath bombs or salts for that matter)
Favorite scent: in candles- cinnamon, fresh cut grass, kiwi ; if it's body care scents I like anything cocoa buttery
Do I collect anything: Not really, but I love country western decor crosses
I love keurig coffee (anything medium roast) and my favorite candy is jelly beans! I also love dark chocolate covered fruits (acai berries, raspberries, bluerries) I do not have any food allergies.
I love to GIVE for the holidays and will be appreciative of any gift I'm given!
I'll be brave and give you an easy way to stock me, here's my FB - https://www.facebook.com/2lauren.keller

Ok a little about me... As the name implies I am married to a poultry farmer. We also live on my husbands families cattle farm. I am 36, have 2 kids and 2 step kids. I have 4 horses, 4 dogs, 2 cats and 4 goats. Cute collars in any size would work. I love tooled leather. I just started learning to barrel race within the last 6 months. I used to ride English (took lessons for years) then married a farmer lol. I grew up in Montana and get homesick sometimes. Truth is I would be happy with anything. I'm excited to participate. I've never done a Christmas exchange before. Some ideas are... Polo wraps (any color that would look good on a sorrel), baseball caps that look girly (I have short hair and love hats which makes me look like a boy). Any books on barrel racing, I love to read and learn well that way. I would post pictures but haven't been able to figure out how. I ride two of my horses, their names are Dixie and Zip. Both are sorrel appendix types. Love them, they keep me sane. When I'm in a grumpy mood my husband will say, why don't you go ride your horse. I also love knee high socks to wear in my boots. P.S. Eat Perdue chicken, you will help send all of my kids to college

Nobody should spend a bundle on me though, seriously. Dislikes: not a fan of camo, pink or otherwise, not a big cross person. Really I'm not to picky though!

I posted a little bit about myself on a different thread, but fear since I'm a lurker more than anything, I'm one of those vague people that BB's are having a hard time getting an idea for.
Horses Name(s): Fiona, my baby, bought her as a yearling, she's now 7, bay roan, registered AQHA. No real colors for her...bad me, she's dark so she looks good in everything. Wears size large in bell boots and other leg gear. Remi, blown up HS Rodeo horse, bought for $50.00. Didn't get any papers with her. Vet says she is about 12-14. Shes a seal bay (?). Love her, because I lack a real fierce competitive attitude during barrels or playdays, we get along just fine. Wouldn't say I've rehabbed her, just found a great working place for both of us! She wears pink, size small/medium bell boots and other leg gear. Horse Girl, (original I know, but she came with that name...oddly it fits her though). Registered APHA, 17 (I think) Sorrel Overo. Hasn't worked in 5 years or so due to lameness. She just eats, poops, and gives me stress, has no colors, and is happy, happy, happy.
Other pets names, breed and collar size: 2 Mini Donkeys. Half brothers. Patron, and Jack-Jack. Patron wears blue, Jack-Jack wears red. They work on keeping things out of the pasture and alerting me to things that they feel are important... They are the comic relief to the place. Their favorite treats are oatmeal raisin cookies. Kage, dog I got from the pound 10 years ago, he is now 11. Boxer, Dane, Pit mix. Abbi, Border Collie, she is 7. Seven, registered pit. The dogs love treats, and other than that, they don't really need anything.
Favorite color: No real favorite color... I don't really like Orange or Yellow or Gold...
Favorite print(ex.Zebra): I don't really have one. I seem to gravitate towards solids...
Favorite scent: Perfumes aren't for me! Husband complains about smelly candles and scentsy. We're bland that way. Of course I love the smell of my horses!
Clothing size(optional): Sweatshirts, jackets, vests, and hoodies, I wear womens XL. Tee shirts, womens Lg.
Favorite candy:Snickers, Twix. I am not a chocoholic... Really love caramel... Sugar is my weakness! (0:
Do you collect anything?: (blushing...) Hippos. I just love them! (0:
Any food allergies?: Nope.
Other random helpful things we should know: I love coffee and coffee mugs! I am not a foo-foo girl. Pretty much a tomboy. Small business owner....with my hubby. It's a CNC job shop manufacturing business. I don't really lover flowers, but love Sunflowers. Love to take pictures. Fight with my husband every spring about my 2000 F-350, I love it, he hates it.... I like to read, real books. I don't have a kindle or e-reader, and prefer suspense, true crime, and history. Love the prohibition era crime stories.... Love home made stuff...I really like the thought of the someone else giving me something that they put time and effort into, makes me warm and fuzzy all over! LOL!!
Dislikes: Mushrooms and birds... (0:
Hope this helps! I will also try and get around to putting my FB page to public this soon. I don't know if that will help or not, but just in case!
Horses name: Grasshopper, Mystic, Lilly, Salty (Salty I don't own but I feed lease and I love her to death!!!) Other pets: 4 dogs: Tessa (the oldest-half black lab half aussie, looks like a lab), Boy (border collie, second oldest), Cain (mut, he is red/gold looking and I can't tell you what I think he is because I don't know. But he is a big boy-at least 50 pounds), and Libbie (little dog mutt-hubby hates her. lol!!) Favorite color: black hands down but pink is my other favorite and then of course anything Giants (black and orange) Favorite print: I am not really a print person but if I had to choose I would say paisley Favorite scent: definitely vanilla, but as long as it isn't old lady/ocean/off the beaten path type scent I am good Clothing size: n/a-I don't need ANYMORE clothes. lol! Favorite candy: chocolate. I am a serious addict. Collect: Except for Giants memorabillia that we usually get when we are at the Park (we are season ticket holders) I can't say I am a collector. Food allergies: none Other: I put this on my other post but I love things that are homemade or come from your town or area that are cool things to have/know/etc. Aside from insanely expensive stuff, I am one of those that buys when I need to. haha! Though we have run out of size medium and large bell boots and need to buy more. I am pretty easy to please. Dislikes: I am sure I don't like things but on the spot I can't think of anything!!!!

Any food allergies?: Nope
Other random helpful things we should know: I'm not super girly and like to hunt and do stuff outside. I don't wear a lot of jewelry, but like necklaces and bracelets. I like neutral/earth tones for house stuff.
From the other thread:
A little about me: I'm 31, married and no kids. I love anything camo! I don't really care for bling. For horse tack, I like dark brown leather or dark blue. I like western jewelry (silver), mainly necklaces or bracelets. I don't wear rings or earrings very often :) It would be cool to have a neat horseshoe or western cross necklace, nothing fancy. I wear small/medium shirts.
Hopefully this will be helpful, but I will be thankful for ANYTHING, I'm just happy to participate!

I am 33 married and one daughter. We just have two horse, 1 dog, 1 cat, my daughter has a couple of cows and 2 horses.
I like anything for my horses, bay tobiano (Rogue) and sorrel (Pennie). My horses are average size halter and medium in boots etc any color brands classic equine, professional choice or pro orthopedic. I LOVE Running Roan Tack:), I need a matching breast strap for my headstall and tie down from there "Cognac Floral with Copper studs" and the wither strap. So a gift certificate would be nice. Bits are nice (step up from snaffle) like to try new things, We use Mohair Cinches (32") roper style or any other good brand. Hats: I like caps to keep sun off my face (I do like some bling, Miss Me has a couple really cute ones that I loved black or tan to match many things but does not really matter), Cute Boot Socks, Water buckets, hoof pic, fly mask or a folding chair that is a rocker to take to shows,. Crafts (anything with a personal touch), Movies/TV: Walking Dead, Longmire, Paleo beginner cook books, practical Paleo on a budget,(examples), Clinque perfume happy set, a wool beanie or hat would be good for winter and I have been wanting to try some calming supplements for my horse also we use springtime equine garlic for flies. Did I mention, I love things for my horse with BLING (not over done) I like antiques and I'm not opposed to used items if it's something you can really use.
Colors that I really like are turquoise, light blue, purple, dark pink (bright color but not neon),
No food allergies.
I'm a new to barrels and just got back into the horses a couple of years ago, so anything that you think could be useful in riding etc would be great. Or just something that everyone should have one of.
I do not collect anything, all i have is western, primitive and some antique styles. Not big into decorating.
My dislikes: vanilla or woody smells, orange or hunter green colors, bigger bronc type halters and no big ear rings.

I am 41yrs old. I tend to be kinda girly as in I wear makeup, jewelry, heels to work but I also have no problem getting dirty and doing my own work....I can dig post holes with the best of them, stretch fence lines, dig trenches etc. Everything I have here my girlfriend and I have built ourselves (barn, sheds decks fencing.) I will try to post some pictures of me and my critters in our natural habitat. I haven't been very successful in the last 5 yrs in my barrel racing....I lost my best horse and have been struggling ever since. I ran her for a span of about 15yrs and was very successful with her. I had a couple of real pukes after her and one really bad accident that has shook my confidence to the core, hence the 20yr old been there done that horse that I own now. I plan on going to the clinic with WrapSnap in January and could really use some warm long johns. I'm a bit of a wimp about riding in the cold and I figure the extra padding won't hurt either in case I come off, LOL. Ok now that I have told you my life story lets see if I can upload some pictures.

I'm going to hit a few garage sales this weekend for my buddy. I'm really looking for a nice tapestry print of "The Hustler" (you know the one where the dogs are playing pool?) so my buddy can hang it in her living room and think of me all year round....

First time doing this and so excited! I think the random pairing will be fun and can't wait to shop. I'm on the list already, but a little about me... Actually had to stop and think - for so long I've always been Mom doing the shopping for kids, honestly hadn't thought much about my specific likes!
Of course, I love horses, even though I don't get to ride as much now (hauling daughter and her horse addiction has taken priority, along with attending son's sporting events). I love my two human kids and my Ruger (Catahoula) beyond words. Things I like: reading (murder/serial killer type fiction books), shower gels and body lotions/creams, blingy jewelry, shirts, and belts (I wear a size xsmall/small), Scentsy type smell good things (especially ones that smell like honeysuckle or hot guy's cologne), western decor, soft/fuzzy blankets and clothes, and photography (if anyone has seen my FB and the gazillion pics of my kids, the horses, and my dog! ). Coffee, Pepsi, and chocolate are my pick-me-ups. Favorite colors - depends on my mood - but usually I go with blue, purple, burgundy, black throwing in some browns/oranges lately! I love the wide western hip belts and have been wanting one!
Horses Name(s): Currently without - I sold my roping horse when daughter got super involved with rodeoing and just "borrow" rides now. Helping daughter start a filly...always plenty to do!
Other pets names, breed and collar size: Ruger my Catahoula and 3rd child. He has a 21" collar, and we use the hole at 19". He would love a fancy collar (not blingy, more like conchos - ya know, something studly)
Favorite color: Royal blue, burgundy, purple, black, fall colors
Favorite print(ex.Zebra): Not a big fan really
Favorite scent: I love honeysuckle. For the house and vehicles - great smelling guy's cologne scent!
Clothing size(optional): Shirts extra small or small. Jeans 0 or 1. Boots 6.5.
Favorite candy: Chocolate and Skittles, Peppermint Bark
Do you collect anything?: Dirty dishes and dust, from the looks of my house right now. Not really anything particular, do love western type decor.
Any food allergies?: No
Other random helpful things we should know: I love dressing up in jeans and boots and western type tshirt or top. Definitely not a ruffles and lace girl, but love looking sharp and classy. Seriously, not hard to please - so excited about shopping and actually getting a surprise package in the mail (besides bills!).
Dislikes: Anything cream filled (like candy etc). Cats (although son "rescued" one and now have one in my house). Not a big cooking fan - do it quite passably, but only cause my kids want fed.
I will absolutely LOVE whatever I receive. Just getting a surprise will be so much fun! And of course, as others have mentioned, if you can't think of anything else a sugar daddy would be fine. Or an Easy Jet bred colt!

Favorite print(ex.Zebra): Don't really have a favorite print but I like cowhide, ostrich and gator. Do you collect anything?: Not really, I just love westerny things and especially things with longhorns. Any food allergies?: No Other random helpful things we should know: Read my other about me, below. Dislikes: Pink..unless it's hot pink. No baby pink or pink camo. I'm not hunting flamingos.

Ok so... I wasn't sure i wanted to post but i just looked up my buddies post so i guess i should do one too.
Im 27 years old, married for 3.5 years, no kids (and none in the near future lol) i have two dogs a yorkie named Alfred Spartacus and a min pin named Matix. They wear sizes extra small and small in doggy clothes. If anyone is familiar with the movie The Birdcage it is one of my favorites and Alfred got his name from their house man name Agador Spartacus. I also have a giant Siamese cat named Boomer. They are my babies.
I am in my 1st semester of dental hygiene school. I am currently living with my parents during the week and visiting my hubby 2 hours away on the weekends. I definitely hate the distance but you gotta do what you gotta do.
I love anything Harry Potter and Disney movies. I want to start buying the remastered Disney classics like the little mermaid, beauty and the beast etc on DVD or blue ray. I love to wear jewelery i tend to wear more western or bohemian style jewelry. I wear a lot of silver and turquoise or that style of stone in different colors. I am about 5'5" and a size small in clothes. I love makeup Mac, benefit, or urban decay.
Honestly i am not super picky anything for my dogs or horse grooming related would be good too! I have a tail bag and halter addiction. I did just get a gelding with a HUGE head. Lol he is 16.1 and his head still looks big for him.

First off I just want to say how excited I am about this Christmas exchange! As you get older the "surprise" part of Christmas kind of goes away because you tell people what you want and that's pretty much what you get... I love that excitement you feel when you get something that's 100% a surprise!! This is my first year taking part, by biggest reason for doing so sit at the top of every page on BHW. Virginia loved the Christmas exchange and I feel someone needs to carry on for her, since I'm really the only one of her close friends that owns my own horse and does horse type stuff I'm more then happy to do it!!! Now, on to the info!!
About me: My name is Tamara; I'm 23 years old and graduated from Tarleton State last December with a BS in animal production. I love to laugh, I'm a kid at heart and love doing things with my young cousins. I love staying active and doing crazy things. My ideal date is a trail ride or a trip to a paintball course. I love the outdoors! I also enjoy visiting places that have history, and tell a story. I spend a lot of time with family and friends; and I love doing things with them.
Horses Name(s): Miss N Impression AKA Ice
Other pets names, breed and collar size: Marli a 20lb Corgi, Ellie a 80lb Catahoula
Favorite color: Royal Purple (the pretty dark one!)
Favorite print(ex.Zebra): Lace
Favorite scent: Vanilla, Leather
Clothing size(optional): dont get me clothes... Lol
Favorite candy: Butterfingers and Reeses
Do you collect anything?: Not really actually
Any food allergies?: Nope
Other random helpful things we should know: I really enjoy black and white photos, and crosses. One thing that may be helpful to know it I use no metal with my horse. No bits, no Spurs, no shoes. (However if you would like to send me old horseshoes I will take them for a memorial cross!)
Dislikes: Doing the dishes...

I'll be 24 in November! I currently just have one barrel horse named Ricky. His reg name is Saddy Satten. I have one Chihuahua named Cali. shes 4 and size 12" collar size. she goes pretty much everywhere with me. My favorite color is black, purple, and turquoise. I ride everyday and have rheumatoid arthritis so anything warm while riding or being out in the cold will be great! I like anything personalized and homemade. I'm a bit, bridle, halter, rein hoarder. Love anything tack-wise!! Love silver dots, cheetah, hunting camo, and bling. Love Western jewelry especially chunky stones! Like air freshners for my truck. Favorite scents are vanilla or anything woodsy/outside. I collect shot glasses and obsessed with picture frames and anything barb wire. My favorite candy is caramel. I also like anything Harley Davidson.
I am not picky at ALL and I love anything! The thought is what counts :)

Okay, I'm late with this - but! I'm a married mom of 3 kids (ages 20, 6 and 5). I haven't ridden much since the last 2 kids, but hope and pray each year will bring a chance to ride again! I still have my horses, my grey gelding Tommy and my old bay mare Chicklet (my daughter Megan is 5 and will be riding her this year). I'm redoing my kitchen and bathroom - and am not picky at all! When (not iF lol!) I get to ride again, I'll be in need of new bell boots and no-bows, and I love magnetic products for my horse and myself! Looking forward to a fun exchange!

Horses Name(s):Lady, Lilly, and Charley Other pets names, breed and collar size:JoJo - mini schnauzer (12"), Shasta - tabby cat Favorite color: blue, black, yellow, orange Favorite print(ex.Zebra):none Favorite scent: pumpkin spice, lavender & chamomille, vanilla, apple cinnamon Clothing size(optional):XL in men's or unisex (women's are too tight in the shoulders lol) Favorite candy:cinnamon saltwater taffy, dark chocolate Do you collect anything?:wolves. polo wraps, cds, hardcover books Any food allergies?: nope Other random helpful things we should know: see below Dislikes:camo anything lol
I'm 40...single...live with my father & take care of him, 1 dog, 1 cat, & 3 horses - so it's really no surprise I'm single lol. MAJOR NFL fan here - my teams are the Denver Broncos, Indianapolis Colts, and Jacksonville Jaguars (yes...I admitted that)...I also like to cross-stitch and do jigsaw puzzles (the bigger the better). Love to read & watch movies, although it's rare that I get to go to the theater to watch one - I keep a wish list on Amazon of movies & books that I want...you can look it up under my name. I make my own CDs, have an mp3 player and an iPhone, and am getting an iPad soon - so iTunes gift cards are ALWAYS uber-appreciated lol.

Anything for my horse would be appreciated. I'm trying to outfit my coming two year old, Zephyr. Hubby is buying me a nice breastcollar/headstall set for her but I would love a bronc halter for her or some polos. Her color is turquoise/teal with white/black. I like a little bling but not overwhelming.
Dislikes: I am NOT a coffee drinker, bath sets fan. I just like plain ol soap and shampoo. I wear very little jewelry as I'm allergic to almost all metals and the ones I'm not allergic to are very expensive.

Please excuse the huge pictures. I can't seem to get them smaller.
From the other thread:
I have a family (3 girls, hubby, and MIL at home), too many horses, too many dogs, chickens, etc. My main horse is a 8 year old Bay Appendix QH Mare, Phoenix, 15.1 hands. I'm getting back into barrels after a long hiatus and run for the first time in many years tomorrow.
I love anything horsey. I like western, but like medieval, old world style even more. Favorite colors are dark blue and dark green (not necessarily together). I prefer browband headstalls. I can always use halters, reins, brushes. I LOVE tack of all kinds.
I like bling but not a whole lot of bling. Not really into the whole guns conchos, stars, or skull/crossbones.
I'm also into football, Husker fan!!!
I love cozy blankets and like to read although I don't get much time anymore. I love art especially with horses or water scenes. Purses are cool.
I'm not into super bright colors, no licorice. I love peppermint and chocolate. No coffee (to drink, I LOVE The smell) please, but hot chocolates are awesome. I am allergic to most flowery scents. Natural ones, vanilla, berry, fall scents I'm fine with.
I would love a halter with my horse's name on it or a halter plate to put on a halter.
I really love just about anything, except licorice. The reality is I will be appreciative of anything especially horsey stuff. Not something I typically get from my family (and they like animals, not sure where that disconnect is).
Horses Name(s):My main horse is Phoenix, 15.2 hand Appendix QH mare. I also have a 20 year old Shire/TB cross named Bonnie
Other pets names, breed and collar size: 2 Chihauhuas, 1 Jack Russell Terrier mix, 1 cocker spaniel, 3 mutts (large dogs). 3 cats, chickens
Favorite color: dark blue (midnight, navy) and green (dark or forest green).
Favorite print(ex.Zebra): not a huge fan of prints but some are good.
Favorite scent: Peppermint, hazelnut, vanilla, berries, apple/cinnamon, pumpkin spice. I am allergic to very floral, perfumy scents. Food related (pumpkin, etc) are fine.
Clothing size(optional): XL shirts (large if they run big).
Favorite candy: Andes mints, chocolate covered pretzels, werthers originals (candies similar to that).
Do you collect anything?: Trail of the Painted Ponies, snowmen
Any food allergies?:none
Other random helpful things we should know: I can always use brushes, grooming tools, anything like that. I love it! and I love pens and office supplies, yes, I'm a bit strange. :-)
Dislikes: LICORICE - ick, yuck...lol

Other pets names, breed and collar size: Paisley-JRT, June-Red Merle Aussie, Floyd-mutt, Azul-Blue Heeler, Roja-Red Heeler. No clue on their collar size…they all have collars, BUT I could use three blinged conchos for my JRT’s dog collar….

Do you collect anything?: Not really….I just like to spend money on horse stuff!
Any food allergies?: None
Other random helpful things we should know: I live, eat, sleep, and breathe my horses. If I ride three days a week that is not good enough. I aim for five to six days. I work as a teacher, and love my kids. I am happily married and thankfully my husband loves horses just as much as I do. We also love to camp and trail ride. I don’t wear any make up….heck I hardly brush my hair (hence my BHW name), and the last time I bought clothing was….heck I have no idea!! I would rather just ride my horse and go to shows. Things that I could use….a hay bag, (the two year old shredded my really expensive professional choice one), a PHT poll pack, treats for my horse to give him when I stretch his back, lead ropes, anything sore no more….I would also love to have pink standing wraps. I have blue ones, but pink on a black horse would look pretty sweet. I could use a long sleeved shirt…I think I only own one….AHH, or a hoody. I wear those all through the winter when I am doing horse stuff. I am also happy with homemade things too. These are simply ideas…..this is not about spending tons of money on me, just an idea for you to get a feel for my personality. If it is horse related in any way you pretty much can’t go wrong!!!

Oops, I thought I had already copied this over from the other thread.... About me: This is my first time for this and I'm really looking forward to it. I'm all about horsin' around and being a mom. As mom, most of my stuff is what the girls don't want, the left one doesn't match the right one, or it was really on sale. I ride whatever horse the girls don't. Ha! I can't pass up a cute cap or jewelry or candles. I love homemade chocolate chip cookies and seafood gumbo but don't make either one. I'm always cold so socks, sweats and fleece are my friends. I'm not very good at being Suzy Homemaker and I'm alright with that, I'd rather be at the barn. I'm a Dr. Peppper-aholic and always have one open. Horses Name(s): Lindy, Geraldine (I did NOT name her), Rocky Maybe (new horse, I'm still playing around on this name) are the main mounts and then Missy, Cade, DJ, & Runaway because everybody needs more horses than they actually ride! Other pets names, breed and collar size: Sasha-Great Dane, Jackpot-Aussie, Gypsy-weenie dog, barn cats, but not really 'mine'. Favorite color: Yellow & Red in general but black on my palominos, I don't know what is going on my new horse which is chestnut Favorite print(ex.Zebra): leopard, but don't really do prints on my tack Favorite scent: cinnamon, vanilla Clothing size(optional): small Favorite candy: Reese's, Ande's choc mint, Crown Royal, oh wait that's not a candy... Do you collect anything?: dust Any food allergies?: I'm allergic to healthy food Other random helpful things we should know: Dislikes:

Any food allergies?: None
Other: I live, eat, sleep, and breathe my horses :D. I work early mornings at a bakery. After work I head out to the barn and ride. Other then barrel racing, I love to go trail riding. Things that I could use... I really like anything from bath and body and those types of stores, especially “natural” products. Any type of liniment/rub or therapy stuff. I do alot of massage/stretching on my horses and always like trying new products out on them. I usually ride in the evenings during the winter time, and like yarn headbands, gloves, and long socks. I get cold easily .... I also really like things that are homemade. These are just some ideas, I’ll love anything I receive

I have spent far too much time today looking at COOOOLLLLLLL western blingy stuff. I have found so much that I want and that I hope my CB wants too lol. I am just waiting on some answers for postage and also a question on what I am allowed to post o'seas.
I have two 'things' in mind and am quite excited to be participating lol. It's almost as fun as buying for myself . . . actually, it is more fun because if it were for me I would talk myself out of it and pay a bill instead ha ha.

ghost rider - 2013-11-01 11:28 AM Sorry I'm late to the party...posted my info on the exchange thread then was AWOL a few days - didn't realize there was a new thread.
ETA: I hate taking pics of myself...
For my buddy lol!!
Aaack!! Forgot to add - my Amazon wishlist is under my given name. Just go to amazon.com, point at the "Wish List" at the top right of the screen...a menu will drop down - select "Find wish list or registry" & when the new screen pops up enter my name in the box.

I did this on another post, but someone said I should do it here! Apologies.
A little about me: My husband and I ranch with his grandparents, parents and our two year daugther in North Central South Dakota. We raise registered and commercial Red Angus cattle and registered Quarter Horses--racing, ranching and performance horses. We were honored in 2012 as a cumulative 50 year breeder by AQHA, missing registered a foal one year in the early 60's, otherwise we would have been Legacy Breeders. We have also raised registered Red Angus cattle for well over 50 years.
I also work as a livestock specialist for North Dakota State University's Extension Service. I love my job, except it takes me away from our family and ranch way too much, as I live in North Dakota during the week.
Horses Name(s): My favorites of our bunch are Driftwoods Sassie (Roan), Meter Me A Lady (a mare my husband I just purchased...she's a doll!), BHR Light My Fire (who we recently sold :-( ), BHR Missy Special, BHR Missy Rocket, and my saddle gelding, Macaroani (I can't ever remember is registered name). Other pets names, breed and collar size: We have a wonder Corgi, Holly Favorite color: I like blues, purples and reds Favorite print(ex.Zebra): Not much of a print kinda gal...probably paisleys as in a paisley wildrag/scarf Favorite scent: Silage, fresh cut alfalfa, and horses...in the perfume area, Victoria's Secret's Sexy Little Things Clothing size(optional): Tops, XXL, socks, medium or large Favorite candy: I like most of them, hence the XXL Do you collect anything?: Shot glasses Any food allergies?: Melons Other random helpful things we should know: I like local/hand made things, and could always use a new wildrag/scarf, new pair of Classic roping gloves, size medium or large (the purple stitched ones I think), a halter, leadrope, and nice leather reins. Dislikes: Not much...maybe really gaudy stuff
I look forward to visiting with my "Secret Santa". I have met three of the nicest gals doing this previously.

I am so late in doing this. So I apologize if you have me.
Horses Name(s): Walter (sorrel), Trigger (yellow horse pictured), Shooter (bay) - Walter is my horse, Trigger is hubby's that I get to play on. I haven't been on Shooter since he is 5 and I am preggo.
Other pets names, breed and collar size: Hodge, a mix that was dumped on our road. Looks like a small Doberman. (Dumped with another dog, so I named them Hodge and Podge. We rehomed Podge.) Maverick - 8 lb. Yorkie
Favorite color: Maroon; my house is done in fall colors
Favorite print(ex.Zebra): Solids
Favorite scent: Mulled Cider
Clothing size(optional): I'm pregnant, so maternity???
Favorite candy: Good chocolate
Do you collect anything?: No
Any food allergies?: None
Other random helpful things we should know: I am expecting another son in February. Our older son is 4. So anything baby related is good. I don't do bling tack. All our tack has to be able to be switched out on my horse and the rope horses. I graduated from Texas A&M and am a die-hard Aggie.
Dislikes: Burnt orange, Texas longhorns
ETA - I don't do crosses or camo. No need for tack - that's hubby's department.

Texas Taz, I am having a similar issue. I ordered the main item a week and a half ago, they said it would be in stock this week but now the store is not replying to any emails or confirming the order!!!! Aaaaarrrrrrrrr.
I am not sure if I should try and find a back up item so it gets to my BB in time.

OK, I can scratch the above post. I have just confirmed the order and paid for it. It ended up being far more than expected but I think (hope) it is worth it!!!
I nearly put my BB's name in just then and said I hope . . . . likes it. Big oops if I did lol.
