| Yes the "grasshopper" bits have gone down in price! The bit auction face book page- went from $240 to $130 and there is one on eBay right now for $101 with 2 days left! How's the time to buy one if your looking! They might go back up ???!

Location: The Oklahoma plains. | I have never understood the facination with this factory made bit....and therefore the crazy price. I saw the auction on FB- CRAZY!!
And now the price dropped? Did someone buy it for $250 or did that auction itself drop? |

The same could be said for $2000 saddles, but how many of those get bought and sold everyday?

| I bought one- not for big money but enough! What's going to really suck is when the queen of barrel racing runs grasshopper at the all American rodeo and pro choice starts making them again! I could totally see that happening:) lol

Location: KS | I have one that I kept because I am a bit hoarder. Have had it since it came out and tried it on about 9 different horses-never liked the feel. About the time they got crazy high in prices I decided to try it one last time and if I didn't like it I was going to sell it. I put it on a 5 year old that my husband heads on and I have been hauling lightly trying to get him going on the barrels. I did like how it felt and have been using it on him all summer. |

| I've been wanting to try one just to see what the hubbub is about.. But with my luck I'll spend $150 on one and then have them start making them again. |

| I had that I liked but I sold the horse I used it on and when I saw how much they were selling for I sold, I kind of regret selling it just a little bit, I got $230 for it so not going to complain too much. The chain mouth piece is a little different than other chain mouthpieces. I thought it worked good on horses that are kind of hard to find a bit they like. IDk I figured as much they are bringing you could buy a Tom Balding Flex n Roll for the same price and have a nicer made bit. I will be surprised if prof choice doesn't start making them again, personally I like Charmayne's first line of bits (the black shanks with the dots) alot better than the ones now. |

Location: California | That is crazy! I bought mine a couple years ago from a Prof. Choice booth for $30 because they were being discontinued at the time. I also have one with a dogbone mouthpiece. Don't like that one as much, but I'm a bit hoarder so I'll just keep them. |
