| Many of you in E TX know Paula Owens or her daughter Jana Beam. Jana put on facebook that Paula was in ICU after being injured. From what I understand, she was going through a gate and several horses ran over her. She has several broken bones and one is her eye socket so she is in pretty bad shape. Please keep her in your prayers. |

| UPDATE: A friend went to the hospital today and called me. Paula is not doing very well. Everything sounds bad. They were getting ready to take her into surgery to put her eye back in the socket. The muscle and skin were torn away from the bone near her ankle and they have not decided what to do with the broken bones there yet. She will have to have skin grafts on her ankle. She has multiple broken bones elsewhere. She is in a lot pain. This information came from a friend and I am just passing this on.
Apparently she opened a gate and a horse rushed toward the gate which hit her in the face causing the eye socket injuries. Three horses ran over her and must have jumped up and down on her as they went over. She has a long road ahead to get well so please keep her in your prayers.

Jana Beans sister is Jamie McMeans, she was injured in Waco, horse fell on her in warm up, had surgery on her thigh, went home yesterday from hospital
