7 - She hadn't really been touched last december when we got her. She was abandoned at my good friend's place when she bought it. Never missed a meal though! Anyhow she was 1 of 3 left and she wanted to get rid of them cheap so I said I'll sell the other two if I can have that one. She said, that's the one I would've kept but with the little kids around I just don't have the time. So I told her to get the papers because I knew the place she bought was breeding cutting horses and she probably didn't know what she had here.
She handed me the papers and I about died! I dated a big cutting horse breeders son for many years, so I knew instantly! She has Smart Little Lena and Docs Lynx on all 3 papers! I asked which one was mine and she said that one. I took it to the truck put it in the glove box and told her to wait for the call that they were sold.
Went home put them on facebook and sold them for 3 times what she wanted for them. The guy picked up the other two, and tried to buy mine as well. This was on a wednesday and he picked them up on a friday!
I got Echo into my secret weapon trainer Jan 3rd, he rode her for 30 straight days on the ranch, picked her up, I rode her for 45 days then handed her over to Fallon. The rest as they say is history! She's having a blast being able to train on one instead of just keeping KC legged up! It's been the best thing for her to stay motivated. She started her on the barrels July 5th in Cody Wyoming.
