So we have all done the "put a face to a name" but I thought it would be neat if we all posted our horse line up for the year and we can all see who has horses bred similar to each other and just kinda talk horses! Lol this thread may die but I'm trying!!!

My line up;
Mocha - my sweet not running bred mare that has kicked butt for me the last couple years

http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/descent+sandy+ray

Rowdy - Daughter of the above mare, I didn't breed her but bought her already pregnant with Rowdy
also not running bred but she is patterned and super catty - going to start hauling this spring

http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/sheza+rowdy+cowgirl

Jewel - my first running bred horse lol
havent had her long, will run her this spring
http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/zitas+first+down

Now share yours!!!

Clancy, my main mount- we do ranch rodeos, barrel racing, rodeos, playday events, cow sorting, etc. She currently runs a 3D pattern loping to the first barrel. Hopefully we'll change that this year. Her "cutting" instinct has shown through and she'll "cut" other horses in the round pen loose if you let her.

http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/san+jay+tivio

Raelee, my crazy mare- she trail rides, barrel races and does playdays. Her pedigree is nothing special. Her sire was a Reserve World Champion halter horse, and her grand sire was a 3 time Top 10 in the World. She's the milk man's daughter. 16.2 hands and built like a race horse.
http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/color+me+with+class

Tawny is my broodmare or trail horse. Someone on BHW had her full sister, but she passed. I've found some half-sibling futurity horses when doing research. She's currently bred to a RQD son and due in March.

http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/stellar+feature2 - this is my gelding, my mom used him last year and did really good at the sr pro rodeos, hes a very late bloomer and still acts like hes 4.

http://www.bigtimehorses.com/reno.cfm - this is my coming 4 year old that I love to death, shes been amazing!

I cant find my newly cut gelding but hes an 8yr old rare form! The most honest horse I have ever sat on.

My favorite girl. I have had her since she was 3yrs old besides a couple years when I had to sell her, but I got her back and am so happy.  She isn't bred fancy but she is a sound solid mare.
http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/lady+dial+n+win

Then we have the farm baby.  She is such a Diva, with so much personalilty.  My husband thinks she is the cutest thing, says 'She has so much baby in her',  Just LOVES attention.
http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/hurricane+gold2

Not sure how this guy is bred but he is the best old guy.  He helped get my husband riding again after he was hurt and couldn't walk for a couple years.   He didn't come with papers but he always draws so much attention at trails that my husband makes up breeding for him to carry on conversation    Sometimes he is King bred sometimes Dash For Cash just depends on my husbands mood....

I don't own a registered horse(just a dinky old paintaloosa gelding), but here's the up and coming 8year old solid paint mare I'm training, Dee.
http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/dory+sonny+dee+mccue

Then there is the 12 year old Appaloosa pleasure horse who will be debuting in the show pen this spring, wrong crowd I know, but I raced him at a play day a few months ago. Oh my he was so confused. The first time anyone ever actually kicked him and smooched him up and he panicked. Haha he ran though, in every direction but straight but he got moving.

This is my mare. Havent been able to ride her much lately. But she gives 110% every time. She may not have the Big Names of recent, but she has some decent lineage...... I think....... LOL

Sorry I'm not feeling verbose today. Would you like me to write a paragraph on each horse, and it's attributes?  ETA you did not meet the requisite number of pictures, which was 800

Also there was no pics of you riding

My main mount. Love this horse. Fast, catty, and huge heart. Has run low 17's on standard set.

Second pic is new mare. An up and comer. http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/louise+la+jolla

Can you see a theme. Sorrel with minimal chrome
Lol I have two more of them in the pasture marked the same as well .

Thanks, I love his little teacup nose.  We were really lucky to find him.  He came from my hubby's uncles breeding program.  The horses were sold when hubby's uncle had some big medical issues...hubby never thought he would see one of them again.  They at one point had his sire, dam and grandsires and granddams.  Hubby used to have a paint stud out of the same dam as Jet.  He had the same pretty face!

I have 3. My main man is Jet of Honor Jr, an own son of Jet of Honor out of a daughter of The Ole Man We call him Junior (original, I know) and he's been awesome for me since 2002.

We have a 4 y/o, Seriously Cold Cash that we call Jesse. He is by Bug In My Frosty out of a daughter of Cash Not Credit. Just getting him going, he should be making his first entry next month (so excited!!)

Then we have our newest addition, a 3 y/o. First To Frost, he's another Bug In My Frosty out of a daughter of First Down Dash. He's just started on the pattern, but pretty excited about him.

Not sure if I can get the pics to post, I always seem to mess that up somehow!

You could register with American Appendix Horse Assoc if they are still in business

Honestly, it would be a waste of time and money. I'm happy with her even if she is grade :

hoofs you are probably right, but if you ever sell it would verify parentage

I registered mine with AAHA because I thought it was cool when I was a teenager (he is also AQHA)...

Later on I was like, gee, I just wasted 25 bucks (or whatever it was...not much) lol

Later on I was like, gee, I just wasted 25 bucks (or whatever it was...not much) lol

Do I need a copy of both parents papers? Cause the stallion owner (who knew she couldn't be registered when she bred the mare), never handed anything over for the baby

This is my main mount...the old man of the group, Willie.  Most versatile horse i've thrown a leg over.   He'll be 19 next year.

My 8 year old Frenchman's Guy granddaughter....i'm breeding her next year.  Cant wait!!!!

And my 5 year old up and comer.  Most laid back horse i've ever owned..just love him.

I'm not sure.... mine was already AQHA so I just sent a copy of those. I believe they had a website with the rules... http://www.americanappendix.com/hardshipqualification.html

Thanks! You can't believe how many times I've been asked that. She's the only one on her maternal side that hasn't won money and that's because she broke her neck. There's not a lot of younger daughters of SB around or grandaughters of Kiptydoo either.  She's got a brother on the maternal side by Merridoc that won around 50K. She's got a 7 year old filly (I think, may be 8) by Convincing Prince, trained by Joyce Loomis Kernek, running in the 2D right now and progressing fast. My long yearling filly, who's won a bit at halter, will begin her training with Liana Deweese this next spring. The mare's not for sale right now, though her baby this next year will be.

This is my guy not a stud anymore(yeah). He is my number one, was a reined cow horse(missed his futurity year with a pulled stifle), then was patterned on barrels only ran twice by my daughter pulled a check both times, then was just a ranch horse than sat in ex's corral for 4 years, I got him back last spring snipped him and he is loving life, will be a show horse next year, this is the day he came home, right now you can not find him under all his blankies.

http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/copper+dago+romeo

My daughters horse same sire, she is I think going to be 7 or 8 not sure, has been a nice little mare started late shows tons of potential, but now will be moving on, daughter is heading off to college and I do not have time for two.

Her sire: http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/lucerne+jet
Mom was a cassidy cashinova(sp) mare, I would have to get information from Grandpa.

Lots of great horses on here!

I have an off the track SI was 93. He is an own son of Ivory James out of a daughter of Tres Seis. He is so smart and atheltic, pretty sensitive and jumpy though. He is taking to the barrels fantastically and can't wait to start competing!

Nothing fancy just super freaking smart. I wanted to learn to cut on him, he will pin his ears back and get after a cow. I wanted to run across the grass at Pendleton, he ran my butt acrossed the grass at Pendleton and even brought home a little paycheck in the 2D for his efforts.

Here is mine, my 4 year old prospect that I am hauling/seasoning (about 15 shows under his belt):

http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/jk+perks+aliven+nine

And coming three year old:

http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/story+fulla+bull

Bad picture, but the only one I could find that is somewhat recent.

I have a 3yr old by son of Special Leader out of a daughter of Calyx he should be staring to haul next summer.

2yr old filly by Special Leader son out of a Doc O Lena granddaughter. She is barely going but will start packing her around soon to get her use to things.

3 yr old filly by son of Special Leader out of Calyx granddaughter. She is my futurity hopefull for 2014.

I also have a 4yr gelding by Scrutinizer out of a daughter of Raise Your Glass hopefully he will start running soon. Love how quiet he is.

My mare I was running until she got hurt last year is a daughter of Dun It With A Whiz out of a Poco Bueno bred mare, she is as wide as she is tall but is a solid 1D kind of horse much to my surprise. She is a crazy little nut ball !

We also have a Colonel Freckles granddaughter that is starting to run again. She is the prettiest horse and a sweet disposition to go with it.

That about wraps up what I have . I have 6 babies coming in the spring hopfully so the line up gets bigger in the next few years.

This is my main guy. I'm currently patterning him and have been to a few o-mok-sees, playdays, and rodeos to lope through and get him used to everything. He's picking it up so fast I'm hoping to start seriously hauling him next summer. He is definitely my boy and I wouldn't trade him for the world :)
http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/dont+look+back2

This is a little mare my grandparents bred. She was the first horse I ever started myself from the ground up. I had hopes of her being a barrel horse but its looking like her niche is going to be cattle work, shows, or a steady eddie kids horse, so she is for sale.
http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/cut+loose+n+fancy

This is my two year old. She's my baby :) I bought her a little over a year ago with plans of breaking her out then reselling. That isn't going to happen because I fell in love with her! Plan on completing her ground work this winter then starting her in the spring.

My mare is a race/performance cross.  She has a good, solid pedigree and a good mind, she is smart.  I've had her since she was about 3 months old and she has been so easy to do everything with.
http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/playgirl+with+cash

My gelding I've only had a few weeks.  He is all peformance (reining bred, and, reining trained) lines.  Sorry for the crummy photo, I took a quick snapshot the day he was delivered and haven't gotten any more since.  He is actually a super nice looking horse, very conformationally correct except for his front feet need some rehabbing with my farrier.

http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/dunit+in+creme

It didn't take very long once my new guy got here to remind myself why I prefer mares over geldings.  Too bad he isn't a mare.

That is just too funny! Of course I know you have Zan the Man who is by ZPD just like my mare. But I just learned that you also have a Cooke County Etc horse. I bought a Cooke County daughter for my partner about 8 years ago. They still have her. She has had 7 foals now and is in foal with her 8th. She is also the horse that gets grabbed for people to ride if they need an extra. (Often she only gets ridden once a year or once every few years and she is the same as she was when she was ridden daily.) Her 5yo son is a rope and pickup horse. (Ridden by a teenaged boy)

My blue roan is Canadian bred so I don't recognize anything on her papers. Her sire is Hancock Leo Dream, dam is Roanies Poco Bar. My hopeful is just a weanling but sired by As Good As Nick Gets.

My Cooke County is 'The Boy!'  He was my first born, and is my hubb's 'dog horse.'  He's a cutting horse, now becoming my team penning horse.  His full sister is with one of my barrel friends here in VA running the pattern.  She's buckskin and quite a beauty.

Yep, the Boy is the one I can trust with ANY rider, of any ability.  He will ride at the rider's level from barely walk to crazy cutting moves.  I took him down for a friend to team rope with and after 4 outs had a bidding war going on for him.  Uber talent on the cows but got bored bad on barrels.
