Has anyone tried Curves for Women weight loss?  I'm too the point I think I need help.  I'm just flat out confused.  Eat low carb, no eat low fat,  not eat high this, no eat that.  Every where I turn or search is an new weight loss breakthrough to the point I feel like I have information overload and don't know which information to use.  Plus I think I need a support system or coaching.  I know my neighbor has been going to our local curves and has lost alot of weight.  I don't need to loose a ton, about 15 lbs, 20 would be bonus.  Menopause is making my belly blow up like a balloon.  I look like I'm about 6 month pregnant yet I'm not fat anywhere else.  Just the belly.  Hubby is wanting to a Mexico holiday again in Feb but to be honest if I don't loose I'm not going.  We go with a bunch of other couples and none of the women have this disgusting belly over hang.  Anyway I'm just looking into joining Curves and wondering if anyone else has tried them.
Any other ideas would be great.  I did buy an exercise bike and as soon as I kick this nasty cold I intend to start biking and doing an ab routine.  But I really need advice on the diet/meal end.  If I only had to worry about me it would be easy but when I have a very physically active farmer husband and two 6'3" tall boys to cook for it makes it more challenging and I dislike cooking as it is that I don't want to have to cook them something (especially something I would love to eat) and I eat a salad.  HELP!!!!!!  Fat and Unhappy!

I would suggest Weight Watchers.  I think the only benefit of Curves is that you can work out in a women only environment.  It's not specifically a weight loss plan.

Weight Watchers is wonderful, but you have to work out on your own.

Everyone makes it out to be much more difficult than it really is.....all you have to do is track calories and stay under 1,400 calories per day. You will lose weight no matter what kinds of foods you eat whether its protein, fat, carbs, etc. Calories are the only thing that counts(others argue this, I know). Also, if your belly is "fat" but you don't have fat anywhere else I'd say your hormone levels are out of whack somewhere. Maybe you should go to the dr. to get them checked out. Have your thyroid checked too. Good luck...I hope you succeed!
